摘要: A retractable screen assembly includes a canister and a pair of tracks spaced from each other and extending in a direction transverse to the canister. A slide component is slideably engaged with the pair of tracks and is moveable toward and away from the canister along the tracks. The screen is coupled with the canister and with the slide component. The screen is selectively retractable to and dispensable from the canister as the slide component moves toward and away from the canister. A biasing device is coupled to the screen for urging the screen toward the canister to retract the screen to the canister as the slide component moves toward the canister. A shock absorber is disposed between the slide component and the canister for counteracting the biasing device to dampen relative movement between the slide component and the canister as the slide component moves toward the canister.

摘要: Certain types of fiber optic cable assemblies include a fiber optic cable; and a cable pulling assembly coupled to one end of the fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable includes optical fibers and a first fanout arrangement at which the optical fibers are transitioned from a multi-fiber cable section to connectorized pigtails. Some example cable pulling assemblies include an enclosure defining a cavity in which the second end of the fiber optic cable is disposed. A first end of the enclosure surrounds the first fanout arrangement. A second end of the enclosure is folded into a loop. A first cable tie arrangement secures the second end of the enclosure in the loop. At least a second cable tie extends through opposite side holes in the first fanout arrangement and through both top and bottom portions of the enclosure.

摘要: A telecommunications termination panel includes a housing having a top, a bottom, a first side and a second opposing side defining a front opening and a rear opening. The housing defines a cable entry adjacent the rear opening and a cable exit adjacent the rear opening, wherein the rear opening is adjacent the first side. A tray is pivotably mounted within the front opening of the housing, pivoting about a vertical axis located adjacent the first side and including a cable entry and a cable exit adjacent the vertical pivot axis and a plurality of connection locations. A cable path is defined between the rear opening of the housing and the tray, the cable path defined by a cable guide defining a channel for receiving cables, the cable guide including a slidable structure configured for pushing cables into the channel defined by the cable guide.

The center portion of the fiber optic module includes a radius limiter for guiding cables between the main housing portion and the frame, the center portion also including a latch for unlatching the center portion for slidable movement. Slidable movement of the center portion with respect to the rack mount portion moves the main housing portion with respect to the frame along the sliding direction.

摘要: An insect-infestation prevention device and a fiber optic telecommunications equipment including an insect-infestation prevention device is disclosed. The fiber optic telecommunications equipment includes a housing with a main housing portion defining a first transverse wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall, cooperatively defining an interior. A cable exit/entry is provided opening on one of the front wall, the rear wall, the top wall, and the bottom wall. A removable insect-infestation prevention device is located adjacent the cable exit/entry opening, the insect-infestation prevention device including cable openings communicating with the cable exit/entry opening. The cable openings of the device are sized to accommodate fiber optic cables exiting or entering the housing while limiting the amount of free space around the fiber optic cables to prevent insects from entering the housing. A removable cover mounted to the main housing portion defines a second transverse wall of the housing and captures the insect-infestation prevention device against the main housing portion.

摘要: An insect-infestation prevention device and a fiber optic telecommunications equipment including an insect-infestation prevention device is disclosed. The fiber optic telecommunications equipment includes a housing with a main housing portion defining a first transverse wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall, cooperatively defining an interior. A cable exit/entry is provided opening on one of the front wall, the rear wall, the top wall, and the bottom wall. A removable insect-infestation prevention device is located adjacent the cable exit/entry opening, the insect-infestation prevention device including cable openings communicating with the cable exit/entry opening. The cable openings of the device are sized to accommodate fiber optic cables exiting or entering the housing while limiting the amount of free space around the fiber optic cables to prevent insects from entering the housing. A removable cover mounted to the main housing portion defines a second transverse wall of the housing and captures the insect-infestation prevention device against the main housing portion.
