摘要： A hard disc drive (HDD) heat sink and sound absorbing frame comprises a sound absorbing frame, two heat sinks with multiple heat dissipating fins and two heat conducting seals. The sound absorbing frame has an open center and multiple through holes. Each heat sink has an inner surface, multiple screw holes, multiple posts with threaded holes attached to the inner surface of the heat sink and multiple heat dissipation fins. The HDD is securely mounted in the open center of the sound absorbing frame, and the heat sinks are mounted on the sound absorbing frame with the HDD. The multiple posts on the heat sinks respectively extend through the corresponding through holes in the sound absorbing frame. Screws screw into the threaded holes in the posts to hold the assembly together.

The display device is installed at the back of a face panel on a host computer, comprising a dial meter and a signal detection circuit, wherein the output of the signal detection circuit is connected to the dial meter and the input is connected to a specific hardware component inside the host computer to receive signal outputs from specific hardware components. The signals from specific hardware components are analyzed to determine the magnitude of the signals. The output from the signal detection circuit is then used to drive the dial meter of the display device, so that the computer user is able to monitor the operation conditions of critical components for early signs of developing hardware failures.

The cartridge assembly can be installed in a computer through the standard drive bay, which includes a booster pump (30) and a water tank (20), interconnected by circulation piping (32). The circulation piping (32) is formed by an intake pipe (34) and a return pipe (36). A transparent window (14) is opened up at the front of face panel (102) for visually checking the water level in the water tank (20). This cartridge design of the water cooled radiator has the advantages of safe usage, harmonious design, and easy operability. For refilling the water tank (20), a design is used employing a lock-and-release mechanism, such that when pressure is applied on the push button (104), the water tank (20) and the face panel (102) will be forced out slightly relative to the immovable shell (10).

摘要： A device for pressing a heat sink tightly against a CPU and positioning a fan over the heat sink is disclosed. The CPU is surrounded by a stationary enclosure having a plurality of holes. The device includes a frame to hold the heat sink thereunder and support the fan thereon. A pair of side pieces are arranged at opposite sides of the frame and each piece has lower hooks for engaging with the holes. The frame is movable up and down with respect to the side pieces. A pair of level handles is pivotally connected to the side pieces and each handle has a curved end profiled to urge the frame downward. Therefore, the heat sink is tightly pressed against the CPU once the level handles are turned in predetermined directions after the lower hooks have been engaged with the holes of the enclosure.
