The protecting part is disposed on an outer surface of the substrate perceived by user's eye from an external shock or foreign mailers. Accordingly, the flat panel display device strongly resist the external shock, and the foreign matters are easily remove from the flat panel display device. The anti-glare treatment is carried out on the protecting sheet to thereby prevent dazzling of users due to the reflection of the light.
