摘要: An apparatus for adjusting a height of a suction brush for use in a vacuum cleaner includes a height adjusting knob rotatably disposed in an inserting recess formed in the suction brush, and having an inclined part formed thereon, so that a height of the suction brush from a surface to be cleaned is varied as a position of the height adjusting knob rotated, a supporting member to support the suction brush in contact with the inclined part thus to allow the suction brush to be ascended and descended by the inclined part, and a passage disposed between an inner circumferential surface of the inserting recess and an outer circumferential surface of the height adjusting knob to pass fine dirt therethrough. With the passage, the fine dirt is not tied up between the inner circumferential surface of the inserting recess and the outer circumferential surface of the height adjusting knob. Accordingly, the rotation of the height adjusting knob is not restricted or obstructed due to the fine dirt.

The suction brush includes a bottom housing with a dust entering port; a top housing connected to the bottom housing so as to cover the bottom housing; a connector disposed between the top housing and the bottom housing, the connector connected to the suction extension pipe; and a flow rate controller disposed at the connector, the flow rate controller controlling a volume of the air entering through the dust entering port so as to control a suction force.

摘要: An apparatus for adjusting a height of a suction brush for use in a vacuum cleaner includes a height adjusting knob rotatably disposed in an inserting recess formed in the suction brush, and having an inclined part formed thereon, so that a height of the suction brush from a surface to be cleaned is varied as a position of the height adjusting knob rotated, a supporting member to support the suction brush in contact with the inclined part thus to allow the suction brush to be ascended and descended by the inclined part, and a passage disposed between an inner circumferential surface of the inserting recess and an outer circumferential surface of the height adjusting knob to pass fine dirt therethrough. With the passage, the fine dirt is not tied up between the inner circumferential surface of the inserting recess and the outer circumferential surface of the height adjusting knob. Accordingly, the rotation of the height adjusting knob is not restricted or obstructed due to the fine dirt.

The dust separating apparatus includes a cyclone body configured to separate dust from air using centrifugal force, and having an entering pipe through which the air enters; a dust collecting receptacle configured to be detachably connected to a bottom end of the cyclone body, and for collecting dust separated from the air; and a filter unit configured to be detachably disposed to the cyclone body, wherein the filter unit has a compact, at least double structure formed by a filter for filtering large dust and a filter for filtering fine dust.

摘要: A vacuum cleaner having a suction path switching unit is provided that includes a cleaner body having a body frame; a suction inlet body hinged to the body frame; an extension pipe assembly having a hose and an extension pipe connected in fluid communication with the hose; and a suction path switching unit disposed on the body frame. The suction path switching unit has a switching duct, at least a portion of which is elastically arranged on a suction path to be displaceable on the suction path. As the extension pipe is fixed on or separated from the body frame, the switching duct is selectively displaced to a first position of opening a first suction path flowing from the suction inlet body to the dust collecting unit or a second position of opening a second suction path flowing from the extension pipe to the dust collecting unit.

摘要: A cyclone dust collector includes a cyclone body including a first cyclone chamber to centrifugally separate dust from drawn-in air for a first time, a plurality of second cyclone chambers to centrifugally separate dust from the drawn-in air for a second time, and a plurality of discharge ports to cause the drawn-in air to be discharged from the plurality of second cyclone chambers; an upper cover to cover an upper portion of the cyclone body, the upper cover having an inner wall facing the plurality of discharge ports; and a noise reduction part disposed between the plurality of discharge ports and the inner wall of the upper cover, to reduce noise generated inside the upper cover by the air discharged through the plurality of discharge ports. Therefore, it is possible to reduce noise generated inside the upper cover of the cyclone dust collector.
