摘要: The present invention mainly relates to a backlight module for use in a liquid display device. The backlight module comprises a plurality of lamps located above a reflecting plate. Each lamp comprises two ends while each end comprises an electrode. Voltage required for the lamps is provided by at least one circuit board located at least one of two sides of the reflecting plate; wherein the electrodes electrically connect to the at least one circuit board directly. Sizes of the backlight can be reduced in the present invention. Furthermore, costs of material and manufacturing are also reduced.

摘要: The present invention mainly relates to a liquid crystal display device which comprises a casing and a backlight module; wherein the casing comprises a frame and an opening formed at a central region of the casing, the opening defining an active area; the backlight module used in providing light source via the active area comprises at least one lamp distributed equally in regions defined by the frame and the active area. The at least one lamp comprising an even luminance portion and a dense luminance portion, wherein the even luminance portion is located in the region defined by the active area while the dense luminance portion is located in the region defined by the frame. Because the dense luminance portion is located outside the active area in the invention, the luminance uniformity in the active area is raised without complex treatments thereby.

摘要: An LCD apparatus with a reduced thickness comprises an upper frame to protect internal components, a display panel installed inside the upper frame, a light tube array disposed behind the display panel, a reflecting plate behind the light tube array, a supporting frame installed on the reflecting plate for supporting the display panel, and a circuit board for controlling the operation of the LCD apparatus. The reflecting plate comprises a main portion and a plurality of side portions. The circuit board is an integration of all control boards using printed circuit board assembly technology and is disposed on at least one of the side portions of the reflecting plate. The main portion of the reflecting plate serves as another frame and is coupled to an end of a stand assembly to support the LCD apparatus.
