摘要: A method for controlling the transmission of a media stream comprising a plurality of consecutive stream elements Is described. The method comprises the step of obtaining (32) a media description of the media stream, the media description indicating an initial element of the stream elements. A request for the initial stream element is sent (34) and a session control procedure is initiated (36) for a session. The media stream is associated (38) with the session in the session control procedure. The transmission of a subsequent element of the stream elements is controlled in accordance with a control rule of the session. Devices and further methods embodying the invention are also described.

摘要: Methods and devices for providing a media description of a media stream to a client are described. The client is subscribed to a media description delivery service. The media description delivery service comprises a media description delivery rule. A request for a media description delivery is sent to a media server. From the media server a media description is received. It is verified that the received media description complies with the media description delivery rule and if the verification is in the affirmative, a delivery of the media description is initiated to the client.

A method aspect of such a technique comprises the steps of sending one or more adjustment instructions for achieving a buffer overlap in content buffers (132-136) of a plurality of terminal devices (102-106) each receiving content via a point-to-point (‘PTP’) distribution (116-120), and initiating, following the sending of the adjustment instructions, a PTM distribution (142) for at least some of the plurality of terminal devices.

摘要: The invention provides a solution for synchronizing cameras connected via a telecommunication network for capturing a multi-view session controlled by a synchronization module. The synchronization module provides a multi-view capturing parameter determined from capturing parameter received from the at least one camera. Said multi-view capturing parameter is provided to the cameras participating in the session capturing in order to synchronize the capturing of the multi-view session. Further a camera device is proposed which inform the synchronization module about its disposability and about the capturing parameter of the camera. Said camera receives a multi-view capturing parameter which is used for capturing the session.

摘要: A technique for content management using group rights is described. The technique facilitates a flexible management for a group of content files mainly by effecting a change of group memberships for subsets of the group and a partial update of the content files. As one aspect, a content file manager (20) is provided to create content files associated with group rights. A device (21) is also provided to process such content files. One method aspect comprises assigning a plurality of content items to a new group whose identifier is associated with a new group rights object; determining if any of the content items has been previously distributed; and for each previously-distributed content item, creating an update content file including the group identifier of the new group and excluding the previously-distributed content item itself.

摘要: Synchronizing cameras, connected via a telecommunication network, for capturing a multi-view session can be controlled by a synchronization module. The synchronization module determines a multi-view capturing parameter from a capturing parameter that is received from at least one camera. The multi-view capturing parameter is provided by the synchronization module to the cameras participating in the capturing session in order to synchronize the capturing of the multi-view session. Further, a camera device informs the synchronization module of the disposability and capturing parameter of the camera. The camera receives the multi-view capturing parameter for use in capturing the session.
