    摘要: A method of protecting a pulse radar from a missile attempting to home on interrogating pulses emitted by such radar, said method comprising the steps of providing a plurality of decoys at different locations in the vicinity of the pulse radar, each one of the decoys being adapted, when activated, to emit pulses of a given amplitude and duration; activating, when each one of the interrogating pulses is generated in the pulse radar, a selected decoy to lead the remaining decoys in the plurality of decoys for a period of time determined by range and range rate measurements of a pulse Doppler missile warning sensor, changing the decoy selected to lead the remaining decoys in the plurality of decoys at a time determined from range and range rate measurements of a pulse Doppler missile warning sensor thereby defining a blink rate associated with the decoys, to form a covering pulse overlapping the then emitted one of the interrogating pulses; and adaptively changing the blink rate and determining an associated maneuver change of said missile in response thereto, to obtain the blink rate that provides the maximum maneuver change associated with the missile.

    摘要: The present invention is an acoustic traveling wave tube system for propagating a directional acoustic wave comprising an acoustic traveling wave tube having a cylindrical shape with a load on one end of the tube, a plurality of excitation rings positioned around a circumference of the tube and spaced at predetermined intervals along a length of the tube and a microprocessor having a database containing a plurality of waveforms representative of acoustic signals. The microprocessor energizes one of the plurality of excitation rings to form an acoustic wave, sequentially energizes one or more of the remaining excitation rings along the length of the tube to amplify the acoustic wave as the acoustic wave travels along the length of the tube, and propagates the acoustic wave from an end of the tube opposite the load as a shaped directional acoustic wave.

    摘要: In a returned wave object detection receiving system, for receiving a wideband signal, means are provided for attenuating narrowband interference. A returned signal is split such that equal power broadband signals are applied to a plurality of channels. In each channel, the broadband signal is coupled through a narrowband filter and a linear amplifier in parallel with a detector and noise correlator. The narrowband signals are recombined in an adder having an output coupled to utilization means. Disabling means are coupled in each channel for disabling one narrowband channel in response to narrowband interference therein.
