    摘要: An article for generating chlorine dioxide includes a canister containing a chlorine-dioxide generating composition. The articles in accordance with the invention are able to generate chlorine-dioxide gas, chlorine-dioxide solution, and chlorine-dioxide solution with surfactants. The canister includes at least one porous region that places an exterior of the canister in fluidic communication with an interior of the canister. The porous region, which in some embodiments, is realized as a mesh, is characterized by a size in a range of about 20 mesh to about 325 mesh.
