摘要： The present invention relates to a method for selecting characters and a device thereof. The method comprises the steps of sensing a touch on a first key, which has a plurality of characters marked thereon; confirming the touch and displaying the plurality of characters associated with the first key on a display unit; sensing a shifting motion of the touch on the first key; and selecting one of the plurality of characters associated with the first key in response to the shifting motion of the touch. The present invention further provides a character input module and an electronic device for implementing the character selection method.

摘要： A multi-configuration portable electronic device including a first body, a second body, a dual-axis hinge and at least a guiding module is provided. The dual-axis hinge has a first axis pivotally coupled to the first body and a second axis pivotally coupled to the second body. The guiding module prevents the first axis and the second axis from acting simultaneously. The guiding module includes a track disposed in the first body and a slide connected with the second body. The slide has an interaction force with the track so that the slide can move from the second body to couple with the track.

摘要： A dual-axis hinge includes at least a connecting section, an upper hinge and a lower hinge. The connecting section has two sides orthogonally connected to the upper and lower hinges respectively. The connecting section has a circuit cavity that communicates with circuit outlets of the upper and lower hinges to form a passage for accommodating a transmission circuit. The upper hinge is connected to a first sleeve for joining the top cover of a folding electronic product, and the lower hinge is connected to a second sleeve for joining the body of the folding electronic product. These connections enable the top cover to rotate in at least two different directions.

摘要： A circuit board retainer for use within an enclosure for guiding and securing a circuit board within the enclosure includes a guide portion having an upper rail and a lower rail extending along an edge of the circuit board retainer forming a slot therebetween for guiding a side of the circuit board. A latching portion positioned adjacent to the guide portion engages an ejector lever pivotably connected to the circuit board. The ejector lever is capable of locking the circuit board in place relative to the circuit board retainer.

摘要： A mobile navigation device operating in a first mode and a second mode is provided. In the first mode, a satellite positioning module is activated while a dead reckoning module is disabled. A processor calculates the coordinates of the mobile navigation device based on the satellite navigation signals received by the satellite positioning module. In the second mode, the satellite positioning module is disabled while the dead reckoning module is activated, and the processor updates the coordinates based on displacements and rotations detected by the dead reckoning module.

摘要： A touch panel and an output method therefor are disclosed. The touch panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, spacers, and a controller set. The controller set can also apply a uniform electrical field on the first electrode layer, so that a capacitive touch panel configuration is formed during the second operation mode.
