    摘要: A method of monitoring a power delivery system includes receiving a gating signal packet from a power cell or other component of the power delivery system. The received packet includes bits that correspond to the status of one or more devices within the component. The packet also includes one or more bits that contain a subset of stored data that was retrieved from a component memory. Optionally, the method also may include repeating the receiving until multiple gating signal packets are received. The multiple gating signal packets collectively contain the stored data, so that the subsets of the data point may be assembled into the stored data. Optionally, the one or more bits that contain a subset of stored data may be mode bits of the gating signal packet.

    摘要: A system and method for performing diagnostics in a medium voltage drive. The system includes a power cell and a bypass mechanism. The bypass mechanism is operably connected to output terminals of the power cell and configured to create a shunt path between the output terminals. The bypass mechanism includes a communication interface configured to transmit a bypass signal to a communication interface associated with the power cell in response to a state change. The method of performing diagnostics includes a controller transmitting an input voltage to a bypass mechanism of the power supply, thereby causing a state change of the bypass mechanism. The controller receives a signal from the power cell, wherein the signal indicates the power cell has detected the state change of the bypass mechanism. The controller then determines if the power cell is correctly associated with the bypass mechanism.

The DC transmission line may have a source end and a load end, where the source end is configured to receive DC power from the on-land AC-to-DC power conversion module.     摘要: A system and method for performing diagnostics in a medium voltage drive. The system includes a power cell and a bypass mechanism. The method may include operating a power delivery system that may have a plurality of power cells that are electrically connected to a first transformer comprising one or more primary windings and a plurality of secondary windings such that each cell is electrically connected to one of the secondary windings and a plurality of the secondary windings are phase-shifted with respect to the primary windings. The method may further include controlling the reactive current flow at each power cell by calculating, at a first controller, a reactive current flow adjustment for at least one power cell so that reactive current flow is balanced among each of the plurality of power cells. Each cell may include a plurality of switching devices.
