    摘要： Provided are a method, system and article of manufacture, wherein a first application receives a message from a second application, wherein both the first application and the second application execute on a node of a network that comprises a plurality of nodes. The first application also receives an identifier corresponding to a channel over which at least one other application can communicate with the second application, wherein the channel is a logical connection at an application level. The identifier that corresponds to the channel is stored with an identity of the second application. The stored identifier is accessed to allow the at least one other application to communicate with the second application over the channel.
