    摘要: A bi-fold door assembly including a pair of bi-fold door panels hinged together and having means for fixed pivotal location provided at the upper and lower disposed corners of the first door panel and means for guided pivotal retention provided at the upper and lower disposed corners of the second door panel, on respective guide tracks. The pivotal location means including pivot brackets of a new and different design formed from a single stamping and the other means including slide blocks having snap lock engagement with guide pins used therewith and which are of a particular design to best serve their intended purpose.

    摘要: A preformed door, preferably of metal, with a frame of wood in which a floating hinge connection is provided allowing the door to be adjusted relative to the frame by way of a hinge securing floating clamping plate disposed within a channel formed in the hinge stile member of the door. The clamping plate is retained by clips frictionally secured between sidewalls of the hinge stile member to prevent the plate from falling away from the channel, while a pair of stops embossed in the channel wall limit sliding movement of the clamping plate within predefined limits.

    摘要: An energy efficient garage door construction comprising a plurality of interconnected door sections. Each of the sections includes a pair of symmetrical metal panels forming the opposed sides and long edges of the section, an expanded polystyrene core to which the metal panels are adhesively bonded, and a pair of generally U-shaped end pieces nestingly received between the metal panels. The metal panels form oppositely facing recesses along one side edge and tongues along the other side edge so that adjacent panels interfit to create a baffle effect, and the panels are held together by C-shaped retaining plates which serve the secondary function of hinge reinforcement members.

The door jamb construction according to this invention further features excellent thermal insulation properties since it is filled with a foam insulating material. The flexibility advantages according to this invention are achieved by providing a lock jamb structure having several removable cover plates which can be installed in various positions. A deadbolt sliding bolt hole cover plate is provided having several holes with removable center sections and which can be inverted, thereby maximizing the number of deadbolt sliding bolt locations which can be accommodated.

    摘要: An energy efficient garage door construction comprising a plurality of interconnected door sections.
