    摘要： The present invention is directed to a system for photography comprising a light sensor configured to detect a flash from a strobe light and in response produce a sensor signal; a control unit operably coupled to a camera and a photography platform, the control unit configured to send a command to the camera for triggering the camera and the strobe light, capture a time at which the command is sent, receive the sensor signal from the light sensor, the sensor signal indicative of the flashing of the light source, determine a calibration value based on the difference between the time at which the sensor signal is received by the control unit and the time at which the command is sent to the camera by the control unit, and calibrate itself based on the calibration value.

    摘要： The invention provides a method for gathering and showcasing validated customer reviews of online merchants. The invention is comprised of three parts: a first part being a web page plugin application; a second part being a cloud software platform; and a third part being a block chain network. When a customer makes a purchase, the plugin (embedded on merchant's website) asks them if they would like to leave a review. Once accepted, the software links the customer with the merchant's identification and they are redirected to the invention's webpage. After a review is posted it is then validated and stored on a secure ledger that is part of a block chain. Merchants are allowed to post replies that are stored on the block chain. Reviews and replies are displayed publically on the invention's website. An object of the invention is to minimize false reviews of online merchants.

A chain in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes an arrangement of outer plates, and inner plates joined by connecting pins. Spacers can also be provided between the inner plates as separate components or as part of the connecting pins. The chain can be used for bicycles and/or other machinery. At least one of the components of the chain (e.g., the outside plates, the inside plates, the spacers, and/or the connecting pins) can include a composite material (e.g., a carbon fiber composite material).
