    摘要: An optical plate and a tiled display apparatus having the optical plate of the present invention include a base substrate and a Fresnel lens having a plurality of Fresnel patterns protruding toward the base substrate from a flat upper surface. The optical plate further comprises an anti-reflection layer, and a high-refraction layer having a refractive index higher than that of the anti-reflection layer. The optical plate comprises an adhesive layer disposed between the Fresnel lens and the base substrate to affix the Fresnel lens to the base substrate, and a spacer disposed between the Fresnel lens and the adhesive layer to maintain a distance between the Fresnel lens and the adhesive layer. The base substrate includes a first portion having a first thickness, a second portion having a second thickness thinner than the first thickness and a connecting portion disposed between the first and second portions.

    摘要: A display apparatus includes a display panel which displays images, a light source unit which generates and emits a light, a reflective sheet disposed below the display panel, and a plate disposed between the reflective sheet and the display panel. The reflective sheet includes a light diffusion pattern provided on an upper surface thereof facing the display panel, which diffusely reflects the light, to guide the light provided from the light source unit toward the display panel. The plate is spaced apart from the reflective sheet by a predetermined distance and includes a plurality of prisms provided on a lower surface thereof facing the reflective sheet to selectively reflect and transmit the light, which is provided from both the light source unit and the reflective sheet, according to an incident angle of the light.

    摘要: An optical sheet includes a base layer, a light-condensing layer and a plurality of light-reflecting portions. The light-condensing layer includes a plurality of light-condensing portions formed on a second surface of the base layer along a first direction extending from a first side surface to a second side surface perpendicular to the first side surface. The light-condensing portions extended in a second direction crossing the first direction at an angle with respect to the side surface. The light-reflecting portions are formed in the first surface along the second direction and corresponding to a plurality of recesses where the light-condensing portions meet each other. The center of the light-reflecting portion is off set from the recesses along the first direction.

    摘要: A backlight assembly and a display apparatus having the backlight assembly are disclosed. A diffusion plate is provided above a plurality of lamps. Diffusion patterns that cause contrast inversion and diffusion patterns that do not cause contrast inversion are arranged on a surface of a diffusion plate, in an alternating manner along a longitudinal direction of the lamps. Thus, a brightness difference between a first area in which the lamps are positioned and a second area between two adjacent lamps is reduced, thereby improving a brightness uniformity of light from the backlight assembly.
