This is achieved, among other things, by a method in which a distance measurement is performed to detect an obstruction in front of the towing vehicle, the signal of the measurement is processed into a control signal in the control unit, and a start-up of the motorized drive unit and/or the actuator is initiated therewith.

To this end, a coupling system is provided, whereby the supply line interface can be displaced out of a traveling position into an operating position.

The invention addresses the problem of developing a lubricating system for towing vehicles which permits automatic lubrication irrespective of whether a central lubricating system is provided. The invention solves the problem using a lubricating system in which the lubricating device is associated with the fifth-wheel traction coupling and is arranged directly on the fifth-wheel traction coupling or in the vicinity of the fifth-wheel traction coupling.

An air-conducting system for a tractor and/or trailer is described, wherein at least one of the vehicles has a wind deflector. The problem addressed by the invention was to improve the aerodynamic drag of tractors and/or trailers. The problem is solved according to the invention by an air-conducting system in which the wind deflector is arranged at the rear of the trailer and/or at the rear and/or in the front region of the tractor and can be adjusted depending on the driving speed.
