摘要： A printing unit for a web fed rotary printing machine is provided including a machine frame support, two sets of printing unit cylinders, carriages, drive motors and guide elements. The two sets of printing unit cylinders, include a plurality of outer printing unit cylinders and a plurality of inner printing unit cylinders. Each carriage corresponds to one printing unit cylinder for rotatably mounting its corresponding printing unit cylinder on the machine frame support. There is a drive motor for each carriage. Two sets of guide elements are arranged on the machine frame for determining a travel setting of the plurality of carriages along the machine frame support. The guide elements for the outer cylinders are arranged on the frame support in an orientation different than the guide elements for the inner cylinders so that movement of the outer printing unit cylinders is in a different direction than movement of the inner printing unit cylinders. Optionally, the printing unit accommodates additional printing devices that are moveable in relation to their corresponding cylinders and vice versa.

摘要： A printing unit for a web-fed rotary printing machine is provided having at least one carrying wall, a plurality of cylinders mounted on the carrying wall, a drive motor corresponding to each cylinder and a slide corresponding to each cylinder. Each slide carries its corresponding cylinder and receives the corresponding drive motor. A drive means is provided for driving the slides and a plurality of guide elements are mounted on the carrying wall and arranged laterally next to the adjacent end faces of the cylinders for guiding the slides along the wall. The guide elements are arranged opposite and parallel to one another on the carrying wall. Optionally, the carrying wall includes panels defining an orifice to allow cylinders, journals and sleeves of the printing machine of varying sizes to be changed readily.

摘要： In the installation and removal of a cylinder of a printing machine, in which the cylinder has a middle drum and two lateral bearing, stubs which are capable of being secured releasably to the drum and of being connected to one another by means of a central spindle which passes through the drum and which at least at one end, can be screwed, by means of a screw connection provided within the outer circumference of the spindle, to the adjacent bearing stub which, with the screw connection released, can be removed, together with its bearing housing, at least to all extent such that the drum is accessible from the side, a high degree of safety and a time saving can be achieved in that, for the change, the drum of a cylinder is released from the bearing stubs and one bearing stub is removed, after which the consequently exposed end of the spindle of the cylinder has connected to it, in the same way as the removable bearing stub, a spindle extension, onto which the drum is pushed and which is then released from the spindle and moved away together with the drum, and vice versa.

摘要： An apparatus for transporting printing sleeves is provided. The transport apparatus includes a housing with a bottom wall, a plurality of side walls, and at least one cover. A plurality of reception devices are mounted in the housing. Each reception device receives a printing sleeve in a vertically oriented transport position with a longitudinal mid-axes of the respective printing sleeve extending vertically. Each reception device is movable out of the housing into an outside position when the at least one cover of the housing is open. Each reception device is pivotable in the outside position such that the corresponding printing sleeve can be moved out of the vertical transport position into a horizontal extraction or insertion position.
