摘要： It is disclosed a process for manufacturing a fiber optic overhead ground wire cable. The process comprising the following steps: providing an optical core; providing a reinforcing structure consisting of at least one layer of wires onto the optical core, at least part of the wires being clad with a first metallic material; extruding an outer layer onto the reinforcing structure, the outer layer being made of a second metallic material having a softening point substantially similar to the softening point of the first metallic material; and cooling the outer layer immediately after extruding.

摘要： A process for manufacturing fiber optic overhead ground wire cable may include: providing an optical core; providing a reinforcing structure consisting of at least one layer of wires onto the optical core, wherein at least part of the wires are clad with first metallic material; extruding an outer layer onto the reinforcing structure, wherein the outer layer is made of second metallic material having a softening point substantially similar to a softening point of the first metallic material; and cooling the outer layer immediately after extruding the outer layer. A fiber optic overhead ground wire cable may include: an optical core comprising a plurality of optical fibers housed in an inner tube; and a reinforcing structure consisting of at least one layer of wires stranded onto the optical core. The cable may be substantially devoid of interstices between the at least one layer of wires and the inner tube.

摘要： A power cable includes at least two power conductors, at least one earth conductor, and a tubular outer jacket surrounding the power conductors and earth conductor. Each power conductor may comprise a conductive core and an insulating layer surrounding said conductive core. The power conductors may be twisted and contact each other. The earth conductor may have a diameter smaller than the power conductors and may be positioned in the interstitial area between two adjacent power conductors and the outer jacket. The earth conductor may contact the two power conductors along two respective contact lines and the outer jacket along an extrados portion facing outward with respect to the cable. The outer jacket may have substantially constant thickness. The lateral surfaces of the earth conductor may be free from constraints between the contact lines with the power conductors and the extrados contacted by the outer jacket.
