摘要： A corrosion-resistant dental alloy is disclosed which has improved handling characteristics during the filling of a dental cavity. The alloy is a substantially uniform blend of three types of particles having the same chemical components, but differing in morphology and, optionally, in proportions of components. One type of particle is spherical or spheroidal in form. The second type of particle is a randomly-shaped microcrystalline form. The third type of particle is a flake-like particle. Handling characteristics of an amalgam prepared from such three particles can be adjusted to suit the requirements of the user by varying the relative proportions of the three types of particles while still retaining the corrosion resistance of the particles.
