The bone anchor also includes a locking cap (102) that has a main body (900) and a set screw (1000). Advantageously, in one embodiment the locking cap preferably is designed such that a single tool can be used to lock the locking cap in place on the anchor body preferably with a 90° turn and preferably then drive the set screw to clamp the rod. The locking cap also preferably non-threadingly engages the anchor body. The anchor body preferably has an inclined surface on its top surface which elastically deflects extending tabs on the main body to secure the locking cap to the anchor body. A method of implantation and assembly of the bone anchor are also described.

    摘要: An insulating member is disposed between the top of a wall and the underside of a roof to more effectively insulate the structure and prevent condensation fostering growth of mold and mildew occurring along the surfaces of the wall, ceiling and roof. A first surface of the insulating member overlies the top plate of the wall extending inward between the ceiling joists a distance of at least 1.5 feet. A second surface overlies the outside surface of the wall extending downward along the exterior of the wall a distance of at least 0.5 feet. A third surface is shaped to substantially conform to the opposing underside of the roof deck such that the space between the roof deck and the wall top plate is sealed off by the insulating member. Multiple air flow pathways extend through the insulating member providing continuous air flow from soffit area into the attic space.

    摘要: A minimally invasive system includes a bone screw and a tissue retractor having distal and proximal end portions and a partial pathway therebetween. The tissue retractor is removably couplable to the bone screw. An instrument has distal and proximal end portions and a hollow cavity and is removably couplable to the tissue retractor. A drive shaft has a diameter less than a diameter of the hollow cavity and is rotatable with respect to the instrument. A counter-torque handle has gripping and an interlock end portions with an instrument interface releasably positioned within the hollow cavity at the proximal end portion thereof and rotatably fixed thereto in an assembled configuration. The interlock end portion also includes an open-ended slot having a width greater than the drive shaft diameter such that the counter-torque handle is movable to and from the assembled configuration while the drive shaft is within the hollow cavity.
