摘要: Embodiments of low-power wake-up packet generation are generally described herein. A wireless device modulates an LP-WUR (low-power wake-up radio) bit sequence with an LP-WUR pulse to obtain a plurality of modulated LP-WUR signals, each modulated LP-WUR signal having a 1× symbol duration. The wireless device multiplexes, in a time domain, an OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) signal with a 4× symbol duration with four modulated LP-WUR signals, to generate a multiplexed signal. The wireless device encodes for transmission of the multiplexed signal to a peer device to wake up a WLAN (wireless local area network) radio of the peer device and to another device with an OFDMA signal.

摘要: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The STA may be included in a first plurality of STAs affiliated with a first multi-link logical entity (MLLE). A plurality of links may be established between the first MLLE and a second MLLE, wherein the second MLLE may be affiliated with a second plurality of STAs. The STA may receive a first subset of a sequence of MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). A second subset of the sequence of MPDUs may be transmitted by another STA of the first plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes: a number of BA bitmaps, configurable to values greater than or equal to one; and BA control information for each of the BA bitmaps.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for ultra-low latency out-of-band radios are disclosed. Apparatuses of a station (STA) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to associate with an access point (AP) on a first channel using a first transmit power, encode a physical (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission on a second channel, and configure the STA to transmit the PPDU on the second channel with a second transmit power, wherein a bandwidth of the first channel is less than the bandwidth of the second channel and wherein the first transmit power is greater than the second transmit power. The second channel may be punctured based on overlapping basic service sets (BSS) (OBSSs) signal strengths. The use of the second channel is restricted for communications related to low-latency applications. The transmit power on the second channel is reduced to lower the interference with OBSSs.

摘要: An access point station (AP) communicates with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) within a synchronized transmission opportunity (S-TXOP). The S-TXOP may comprise an S-TXOP trigger followed by a plurality of S-TXOP slots. After transmission of the S-TXOP trigger, the AP may encode, for transmission within an S-TXOP slot, a downlink (DL) multi-user physical layer protocol data unit (DL MU-PPDU). The DL MU-PPDU may include a preamble followed by a data field. To indicate that a previously signaled resource unit (RU) allocation is to be used during the S-TXOP slot, the AP may encode the preamble to include an allocation ID of the previously signaled RU allocation in a signal field (SIG) of the preamble and to include a SIG-2 presence indicator to indicate that a second signal field (SIG-2) is not included in the preamble.

A device may generate, during a first association of the device to a first access point, a request to authenticate the device to a second access point; send, during the first association, the request to authenticate; receive, during the first association, a response indicating that the device is authenticated to the second access point; generate, during the first association, a reassociation request to the second access point; determine that a time between sending the request to authenticate and generating the reassociation request is less than a threshold time; send, based on the determination that the time is less than the threshold time, the reassociation request to the second access point; and receive a reassociation response indicative of a second association of the device to the second access point.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to communicating time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) data using one or more dedicated resource units (RUs). A station (STA) decodes a trigger frame received from an access point station (AP) encoded to indicate resource units (RUs) of an UL PPDU for an uplink multi-user orthogonal frequency division multiple access (UL MU OFDMA) data transmission by a first and a second station STA. The trigger frame may also be encoded to indicate configuration information for a dedicated RU for time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) UL data. The dedicated RU may be one RU of one or more RUs of the UL PPDU that are reserved for time-critical communications. The STA may encode time-critical ULL UL data for transmission to the AP on the dedicated RU during the uplink MU OFDMA data transmission by the first and second STAs. The time-critical ULL UL data may start at any time during transmission of the UL PPDU. Medium access control layer (MAC) padding may be included in a MAC payload until the time-critical ULL UL data is available at the MAC layer of the STA.

摘要: This disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and systems related to a MAC protocol that can coordinate the AP with a relay STA to improve both the uplink and downlink throughput of a CE STA by using underutilized secondary channels. The disclosed systems and methods can be used to improve the performance of cell-edge STAs without affecting the performance of non-cell-edge STAs. In various embodiments, RTS frames can be used to instruct relay STAs to transmit data to CE STAs over idle secondary channels while the AP transmits data to legacy (e.g. 20 or 40 MHz) STAs over primary channels.
