Abstract: A hose band is formed into a ring, in order to be wrapped around a hose. When the band is wrapped around the hose, its end portions are superposed, one overlying the other. Projections are formed on the underlying end portion, in order to be fitted into the holes made in the overlying end portion. A tightening lug is included in the overlying end portion of the band.
