摘要: A system for delivering a substance into a body at a treatment site that includes an alternating current source and a plurality of electrodes. Circuitry is connected between the alternating current source and the electrodes for supplying current to the electrodes when the electrodes are in electrical contact with said body so that a uni-directional current flow for delivering the substance into the body is maintained at the treatment site and a bi-directional current flow is maintained throughout the body. At least one of the electrodes is divided into sub-electrodes to, for example, reduce hazards associated with current concentration. These and other systems and methods are adaptable for large treatment areas and/or use a convenient and low-cost arrangement of electronics.

摘要: An electrokinetic delivery or diagnostic device for personal use and self-administration of a medicament to a treatment site is provided. The device includes a housing containing a power supply, a first active electrode and a ground tactile electrode. An applicator includes a pad for containing medicament for overlying the first electrode of the device. The medicament may be applied by the user to the pad, contained within the pad or contained in rupturable capsules within the pad, together with a hydrogel if necessary for imparting electrical conductivity whereby, upon application of the applicator to the treatment site, the medicament is electrokinetically transported into the treatment site. In another form, the applicator is self-contained, having a power supply, a first electrode overlying a pad and a ground electrode from the opposite side from the pad whereby the individual presses the pad against the treatment site to complete the electrical circuit and electrokinetically drive the medicament into the treatment site.

摘要: An electrokinetic delivery system for personal use in self-administration of a medicament to a treatment site on an individual includes a device shaped to conform with the shape of a portion of an individual's finger from a tip thereof to a location past the first finger joint. A self-contained power source is carried by the device and a first electrode is carried by the device adjacent a distal end portion thereof and the tip of the individual's finger. The first electrode is in electrical contact with the power source. A second electrode is carried by the device for contact with the individual's finger. The second electrode is in electrical contact with the power source. Upon application of the first electrode over a treatment site with the medicament disposed between the first electrode and the treatment site and completion of an electrical circuit through the individual's body and said electrode, the device applies current for electrokinetically driving the medicament into the treatment site.

摘要: A nunchaku includes a joint pin for connecting a baton of the nunchaku to a chain. The joint pin includes a front section for extending through a bearing mounted inside the baton to project from an inner end of the baton to connect to the chain, and a circular flange provided at a rear end of the joint pin to abut against an inner side of the bearing. The flange of the joint pin has an outer diameter larger than an inner bore of the bearing and therefore effectively prevents the whole joint pin and accordingly the chain from separating from the baton even when the steel balls of the bearing are badly worn off and fail to engage with the joint pin.

摘要: A heat dissipating device comprises a turbine-type fan having a plurality of blades; a cover covering the blades; a wind collecting mask installed below the cover; and a wind outlet formed in the wind collecting mask. A heat dissipating seat is installed below the turbine-type fan; and a plurality of heat dissipating units extends from a surface of the heat dissipating seat. Wind is sucked by the turbine-type fan, then flows toward the wind collecting mask, then flows out of the outlet of the wind collecting mask to enter into the heat dissipating units and then flows to the heat dissipating seat for dissipating heat from the heat dissipating units and the heat dissipating seat.

摘要: The present invention provides a lens adjusting mechanism, which includes a first platform, a second platform, a mounting foot and a spiral lock member. A first assembling aperture is formed along the rim of the first platform. A second assembling aperture is formed along the rim of the second platform in accordance with the first assembling aperture of the first platform. The second platform is mounted above the first platform by passing the spiral lock member through the first assembling aperture and the second assembling apertures. The second platform has a flexibility portion adjacent to the second assembling aperture. A hinge groove is opened between the second assembling aperture and an end part of the flexibility portion, so that the flexibility portion is capable of flexing. The mounting foot supports on the first platform, and against the end part of the flexibility portion. When screwing the spiral lock member, the second platform achieve a specific inclination through a pull acted by the spiral lock member and a push acted by the flexibility portion, thus, the lens positioned on the second platform can be accordingly adjusted via the specific inclination.

摘要: A stepwise variable zoom lens system for creating an image of a scene on an image sensor includes a first lens unit which has a positive refracting power, an aperture, a second lens unit which has a positive refracting power, and a third lens unit which has a negative refracting power. Each of the first, the second and the third lens units is constructed from a single block. The third lens unit is fixed. The first and the second lens units are selectively positioned in a first position and a second position, and the position is changed from one to the other by moving the first and the second lens units in opposite direction.

摘要: A supporting post for motor shade includes a length-adjustable extendable post, a protective sleeve movably mounted on the extendable post, a movable fixing assembly mounted on the extendable post to provide an elastic tension, and a bottom seat with a universal joint connected to a lower end of the extendable post. The supporting post is upright erected beside a car with the movable fixing assembly elastically upward abutting on a lower edge of the car. The protective sleeve prevents the rigid extendable post from abrading the car, and the bottom seat with the universal joint allows the extendable post to stably stand on a rough or slope ground surface. A shade supported on four pieces of the extendable posts is distantly located above a car to effectively shield the car from sunlight, heat, and rainwater when the car is parked in an open-air place.
