    摘要: The apparatus is for automatically transporting sheets of original to a reading position on a plane member of an image forming apparatus. The apparatus includes an assembly for setting in position or accommodating sheets of original, an assembly for feeding the sheets, a transporting rolling device and a guiding device. The sheet setting assembly is located beside the plane member. The sheet feeding assembly is for feeding a sheet from the sheet setting assembly. The transporting rolling device presses on the plane member of the image forming apparatus to transport a sheet from the sheet feeding assembly by means of nipping the sheet against the plane member. The guiding device is located at a place adjacent to the transporting rolling device and ahead or upstream of it, with respect to the sheet transporting stream, for guiding the leading edge of the sheet to the nipping position between the transporting rolling device and the plane member. A second guiding device, a discharge guiding device, is positioned upstream of the first guiding device and allows the sheet to pass by it in the feeding direction and acts to guide the sheet when being discharged. The apparatus may be applied to copying machines.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus has an automatic original feeder for conveying an original along a path to a transparent platen. This automatic original feeder conveys the original to a position where it lies between the platen and an original conveying device which is disposed on a frame which can cover the transparent platen. The frame is rotatably supported by a supporting member. This supporting member is attached movably up and down relative to the main body of the apparatus and it is elastically urged downward. This biases the original conveying device downwardly, so that the pressure applied to the original by the original conveying device is properly maintained, thereby ensuring reliable conveyance of the original. Clearances between the original conveying device and an original cover plate on the frame are covered with clearance covering members, thereby to prevent an outline of the original conveying device from appearing in a transferred image. The supporting member can be attached to the main body of the apparatus through an adapter member, thereby allowing a single model of automatic original feeder to be mounted on different types of image forming apparatuses. The original conveying device is reversible, the transparent platen has an inclined surface at its infeed/outfeed end, and the feeder has holding extensions which hold down the infeed end of the platen on opposite sides of the original's path.

    摘要: An automatic document conveying device for use with an image processing machine having a transparent plate on which to place documents. The device includes an opening-closing frame and a document table. A conveyor roller is rotatably mounted in the opening-closing frame. A document delivery device is provided for delivering sheet-like documents from the document table. The document delivered from the document table is introduced into a required position on the transparent plate by the conveyor roller. The rotation of the conveyor roller in the introducing direction is stopped while the introduced document is still between the conveyor roller and the transparent plate. A guiding device which permits advance of the document from the document table to the transparent plate but hampers movement of the document from the transparent plate toward the document table and defects it upwardly, is provided between the document table and the conveyor roller. When the conveyor roller is rotated in the carrying direction, the document on the transparent plate is deflected upwardly by the guiding device and discharged through a discharge opening formed in the opening-closing frame.

    摘要: An adapter for mixing and injection of preparations comprises a cylindrical vial-fitting portion (1), a puncture needle (2) and a tubular tip-fitting portion (3). The vial-fitting portion (1) includes a top wall (11) and a skirt (12). The puncture needle (2) is passed through the top wall (11) and is integrated therewith. The tip-fitting portion (3) is arranged coaxially to the puncture needle (2) on the opposite side thereof to the top wall (11). The puncture needle 2 has a cutting edge 21 on the side of the skirt (12) and is provided at a proximal end thereof with a connecting portion (22) for engagement with the tip-fitting (23), which communicates with a lumen (32) of the tip-fitting portion (3) and is open to the cutting edge (21). A filter (4) is arranged in the liquid passage (231) of the connecting portion (22).

    摘要: A multiple sorter includes several sorter units disposed in series at a paper discharge outlet of an image forming apparatus. Each of the sorter units includes a paper distributing mechanism for distributing paper to several sort bins, and a first path change-over mechanism for changing over the connection of a paper lead-in path to either a paper feeding path to the paper distributing mechanism or a paper discharging path to a non-sort bin. The sorter also includes several bypass carrying paths, each provided across the paper discharging path of each of the sorter units and the paper lead-in path of another one of the sorter units which is adjacent to the one sorter unit in a serially connecting direction of the sorter units. The non-sort bin is provided on an upper portion of the bypass carrying path of each one of the sorter units so that the non-sort bin serves another one of the sorter units upstream of the one sorter unit. The sorter further includes several second path change-over mechanisms, each for switching the connection between the paper discharging path to the non-sort bin and the bypass carrying path.

    摘要: Image forming apparatus including a sheet finish-processing unit for finish-processing sheets discharged from a copying machine to which the unit is laterally positioned and stored thereby into a plurality of stacks. A sheet stack finish-processing mechanism of the unit, incorporating a stapler, is shiftable by an associated drive mechanism in the widthwise direction along the adjacent end of a positioned stack in storage. A sheet stack handling mechanism therein draws the end of the positioned stack into a finishing locale of the finish-processing mechanism, and subsequent to a finishing (stapling) operation, returns the finished sheet stack into storage. Thereupon, the stack is transversely discharged frontward of the image forming apparatus from storage, during which operation a subsequent finishing operation is concurrently executable; by such discharge a number of copy stacks greater than the number of stacking storages can be processed. The stacks are linearly inserted into and withdrawn from the finish-processing mechanism, eliminating the need for complex movements thereof, and allowing the finish-processing mechanism to be functional at a number of linear positions along the stack end margin. Furthermore, the sheet stacks are discharged to the apparatus front, wherein they are readily accessible for removal by an operator.
