    Abstract: Block storage arrangement and method. The block storage arrangement includes at least one container receiving space; a loading space below, in a direction of gravity, the at least one container receiving space; at least one loading vehicle, which can be moved in the loading space to a position below the at least one container receiving space, having a lifting device; and a container detecting device arranged at an upper end, in the direction of gravity, of the at least one container receiving space.     Abstract: A container stacking storage system loading trolley that includes a chassis and a container seat that is height-adjustable relative to the chassis. The container seat includes a receiving region with a container contact surface. A lifting device, operable in a lifting direction, is arranged between the chassis and the container seat, and includes a first lifting drive and a second lifting drive. The second lifting drive is configured to act on an unlocking device that is configured to act on holding elements of a container stacking storage system.

    Abstract: Block stacking arrangement that includes a plurality of container receiving slots, a loading space arranged below the container receiving slots in a direction of gravity, a pass-through opening between respective container receiving slots and the loading space, and a holding device, which is arranged in the pass-through opening, having a flap pivotable about a shaft between a holding position and a release position. The shaft is mounted in an edge of the pass-through opening, and the shaft is mounted at at least one end in a bolt socket that is upwardly open in the direction of gravity. The block stacking arrangement further includes a shaft hold-down device, which is fastened to the edge of the pass-through opening, arranged at least partially above the bolt socket in the direction of gravity to act on the end of the shaft.

    Abstract: Method for operating a block storage arrangement and a block storage arrangement that has multiple container stacking chambers, a loading chamber arranged below the container stacking chambers, and at least one loading vehicle, which includes a travel drive and a lifting drive, that is movable in the loading chamber. The method includes positioning, via the travel drive, the at least one loading vehicle below a preselected container stacking chamber; via the lifting drive, one of storing a container in the container stacking chamber from below or removing a container downwardly from the container stacking chamber; and prior to a person gaining access to at least the loading chamber, placing the block storage arrangement into a secure state by inactivating at least the lifting drive of the loading vehicle.
