摘要: A car sharing system includes a car share device and a communication control unit. The car share device is configured to perform wireless communication with a mobile terminal that is operable as an electronic key. The communication control unit controls the wireless communication between the mobile terminal and the car share device so that an authentication process through bidirectional communication is executed only when a communication connection establishment process is performed. After the wireless communication has been established, the communication control unit controls the wireless communication so that actuation of an on-board device is permitted in accordance with operation of the mobile terminal through unidirectional communication from the mobile terminal to the car share device.

摘要: This key information generation system generates key information required when using a shared vehicle, and imparts this key information to a mobile terminal. Authentication is performed between a mobile terminal containing the imparted key information, and an authentication device provided to a vehicle, and if said authentication is successful, the mobile terminal enables operation of the vehicle via the authentication device. The key information generation system includes: an information management unit which manages, by associating with one another, individual information for the authentication device, a key information generation code, and usage information pertaining to the use of the authentication device; and a key information generation unit which specifies a key information generation code from individual information and usage information managed by being associated with one another by the information management unit, and generates key information on the basis of the key information generation code.

摘要: An operation status detection device is provided that detects if a vehicle operator is able to properly manually operate an automotive steering wheel when a driving assist device is on, and if not, maintains the “on” state of the driving assist device. The detection device includes a request part that requests that the vehicle operator grip the steering wheel at a designated position to perform an operation task that may be performed manually. The device further includes both a detection part having sensors that detect whether the vehicle operator is properly gripping the steering wheel, and a determination part that determines if the vehicle operator is able to operate the steering wheel based on whether completion of the operation task is detected by the detection part within a predetermined time after the request part requests the operation task.
