Abstract:
An arc welding apparatus includes: a driver for advancing and retreating a welding consumable with respect to a workpiece to generate a short circuit condition and an arc condition; a state detector for detecting respective starts of the short circuit condition and the arc condition based on a voltage between the workpiece and the welding consumable; a time detector for detecting that an elapsed time from the start of the short circuit condition reaches a reference time using a time shorter than an estimated continuation time of the short circuit condition as the reference time; and a power controller for reducing an electric current between the workpiece and the welding consumable corresponding to a state where the elapsed time reaches the reference time and raising the electric current after the start of the arc condition.
Abstract:
An arc welding apparatus includes: a detector configured to detect whether it is in a short state or an arc state between a consumable electrode and a welded article; a feed adjuster configured to apply a forward feed for feeding the consumable electrode when the arc state is detected and apply a reverse feed for feeding the consumable electrode when the short state is detected; a determiner configured to determine whether or not a predetermined period has elapsed after the detector has detected the short state; and an instructor configured to instruct the feed adjuster to continue the reverse feed even when the arc state is detected, until the determiner determines that the predetermined period has elapsed.
Abstract:
An arc welding apparatus includes: a welding-condition acquirer configured to acquire a welding condition; a heat-input calculator configured to calculate a required heat input corresponding to the welding condition; a frequency setter configured to set a smaller frequency for a short circuit condition and an arc condition corresponding to an increase in the required heat input; and a driver configured to repeatedly perform a process at the frequency, the process including advancing and retreating a welding consumable with respect to a workpiece to generate the short circuit condition and the arc condition.
