Abstract: A door hinge is attached by a base to a road vehicle. The door hinge carries a side door via a door mount, and it enables the door, when it is being opened, to be shifted upwards while at the same time shifting in an outward direction and rotating in a plane that is transverse to the outward direction. This decreases the risk of a lowermost parts of the side door hitting, e.g., a roadside curb near which the road vehicle is parked.

Abstract: A rotary union for connecting to a shaft includes a female part, a male part rotatable relative to the female part on an axis of rotation, and a first primary conduit. The first primary conduit includes a female conduit portion formed by the female part, and a male conduit portion formed by the male part. The rotary union forms a first coupling between the female conduit portion and the male conduit portion. The female part further forms an annular seat facing the male part. The rotary union further includes a primary seal in the annular seat that is configured to radially seal to the male part and to shift in position away from the first coupling along the axis of rotation and to axially seal to the female part at an increase in pressure of a first primary fluid in the first coupling.

Abstract: A multiple-plate wet clutch for mounting on a shaft having an internal shaft conduit for a coolant has a clutch hub mounted on the shaft, a clutch basket rotationally supported relative to shaft, a clutch pack operationally connecting the clutch hub and the clutch basket, and a collar mounted on the shaft. The wet clutch further has a plurality of clutch conduits, each having a collar portion formed by the collar and a hub portion formed by the clutch hub. The collar portion has an inlet for receiving the coolant, and the hub portion has one or more outlets at the clutch pack for releasing the coolant. The wet clutch further has a plurality of valves, each connected to a clutch conduit to control the flow of coolant through the clutch conduit. An actuator, supported by the collar, is configured to simultaneously engage the clutch pack and operate the valves.
