Abstract: Disclosed are a hollow fiber membrane module, a filtration apparatus based on the same, and a method for manufacturing the filtration apparatus. The hollow fiber membrane module includes two headers respectively provided with a permeate collecting unit therein, wherein each of the headers has grooves on its two sides, the grooves being extended in a length direction of the hollow fiber membrane. Since one slide rod can simultaneously be inserted into grooves of two adjacent hollow fiber membrane modules, the hollow fiber membrane modules can mutually serve as guides for insertion/ejection thereof. Also, since the grooves formed on the header can serve as insertion holes into which a clamp is inserted, the clamp can be used for coupling between the hollow fiber membrane module and another element and reinforcement of the coupling.

Abstract: A hollow fiber membrane module and a puller used therefore is disclosed, wherein each individual hollow fiber membrane module can be easily pulled out from a filtering apparatus provided with a plurality of hollow fiber membrane modules if it is required to be replaced or repaired. At this time, the hollow fiber membrane module comprises a hollow fiber membrane; and at least one header to which the hollow fiber membrane is potted, wherein the header includes a first lateral side to which the hollow fiber membrane is potted and a second lateral side opposite to the first lateral side, and wherein an engaging plate is formed at the second lateral side. Also, the puller comprises a main body; and a hooking member, extending from an end of the main body, formed in a shape suitable for being caught in the engaging plate.

Abstract: A filtering method using a filtering system is disclosed, which is capable of accomplishing a first water bath into which a first membrane cassette and a first membrane cassette for concentrate are submerged, a second water bath into which a second membrane cassette and a second membrane cassette for concentrate are submerged, a first pump for supplying a first negative pressure to the first membrane cassette, a second pump for supplying a second negative pressure to the second membrane cassette, and a common pump for supplying a third negative pressure to the first and second membrane cassettes for concentrate, stopping an operation of the first pump; interrupting the third negative pressure supplied from the common pump to the first membrane cassette for concentrate; and cleaning the first membrane cassette and the first membrane cassette for concentrate.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pressurized hollow fiber membrane module that exhibits improved durability without deterioration in packing density and permeation flux. The pressurized hollow fiber membrane module includes a composite hollow fiber membrane comprising a tubular braid woven by yarns and a polymer film on the outer surface of the tubular braid. At least one of the yarns comprises a small-fineness filament and a medium-fineness filament. The small-fineness filament comprises first monofilaments having a fineness of 0.01 to 0.4 denier, the medium-fineness filament comprises second monofilaments having a fineness higher than 0.4 and lower than 3, and a ratio of thickness of the tubular braid to outer diameter thereof is 15 to 35%.
