Abstract: In order to improve MRI workflow, a recommender system is provided that comprises an input unit, a processing unit, and an output unit. The input unit is configured to receive data comprising information about a plurality of pre-tests provided to a patient and associated pre-test results. The plurality of pre-tests is performed prior to an MRI scan session. The plurality of pre-tests comprises a cognitive test, a sensorimotor test, or a combination thereof. The processing unit is configured to generate, based on the received data, a cognitive profile of the patient indicative of an individual's pattern of relative strengths and difficulties across several cognitive domains. The processing unit is further configured to determine, based on the cognitive profile of the patient, a task implementation for the MRI scan session. The processing unit is further configured to provide, via the output unit, a recommendation of the determined task implementation for the MRI scan session.

Abstract: The present invention relates to attention bias modification treatment. In order to improve the treatment effect, an ABM system is proposed with a neural brain response monitoring device, such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), magnetoencephalography (MEG), and/or electroencephalography (EEG), to provide real-time information regarding neural brain responses in order to personalize and optimize the ABM treatment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for task determination during brain activity analysis. The apparatus comprises an input unit (20), a processing unit (30), and an output unit (40). The input unit is configured to provide the processing unit with measurement data of the brain of a patient performing a task during brain activity analysis. The processing unit is configured to determine a measure of brain activity based on the measurement data of the brain. The processing unit is configured to determine: that the patient should perform a different task to the task they are currently performing and select the different task; or that the patient should continue performing the task that they are currently performing; or that the patient should stop performing the task; The determination comprises utilization of information relating to the task and the determined measure of brain activity and information relating to a plurality of reference tasks and associated plurality of reference measures of brain activity. The output unit is configured to output an indication that the patient should perform the different task, that the patient should continue performing the task, or that the patient should stop performing the task.

Abstract: In order to enable more accurate calibration of brain, there is provided a system for creating a hemodynamic brain atlas for calibration of brain hemodynamics. The system comprises a non-invasive transcranial neurostimulation device, a non-invasive neuromonitoring device, and a computing device. The non-invasive transcranial neurostimulation device is configured to induce neuronal activity to evoke a hemodynamic response in a target region of interest (ROI) of a brain of a human subject. The non-invasive neuromonitoring device is configured to monitor the evoked hemodynamic response in the target ROI. The computing device configured to determine a set of parameters representing a hemodynamic response function, HRF, of the evoked hemodynamic response in the target ROI, and to associate the set of parameters of the HRF with the target ROI to form the hemodynamic brain atlas.

Abstract: It is proposed to obtain information about a stress or anxiety level of a subject within a predetermined time period before, during and/or after a capture time of a fMRI scan image. Using this information, embodiments may provide additional/supplementary information that may aid, assist or otherwise improve interpretation of the fMRI scan image.
