Abstract: The present invention relates to healthy lifestyle management. In particular to a device for priming a person (10), comprising a detector (2) for detecting when the person (10) expresses or should express a predetermined behavior, a stimulus unit (4) for providing the person (10) with a sensory stimulus (14, 16, 21), and a control unit (3) for controlling said stimulus unit (4) to provide the person (10) with a sensory stimulus (14, 16, 21) when it has been detected that the person expresses a predetermined behavior and to provide the same person (10) with the same sensory stimulus (14, 16, 21) when it has been detected that the person (10) expresses or should express said predetermined behavior. A further aspect of the invention relates to a method for priming a person and a computer program for carrying out said method.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for use as part of diagnostic analysis of the psychiatric or neurological health of a patient based on use of a normative database of fMRI data results and cognitive task results for a population of prior patients. Embodiments propose to acquire fMRI data of a particular set of one or more regions of the brain of a patient while the patient is performing a cognitive task, and to record at the same time results of the patient's performance in the cognitive task. A combination of both the cognitive task results and the fMRI data for the brain regions is used to provide an indicator as to a cognitive health status of the patient. More particularly, a normative database of fMRI data results and cognitive task results for a population of patients is used as a reference. This may store results both for healthy patients and pathological patients, to provide a normal and abnormal reference.

Abstract: A medication management system (100) comprises a portable device (10) attachable to a user (30) and a medication dispenser (20). The portable device comprises a lighting means (50) for providing a visual stimulus (55) to indicate an approaching medication intake moment or period. The medication dispenser (20) comprises further lighting means (40, 41) for providing a further visual stimulus (45) to draw the attention of the user. The visual stimulus and the further visual stimulus have a same predetermined color and the visual stimulus (55) is provided a predetermined time before the medication dispenser provides the further visual stimulus (45).

Abstract: A system for treating visual neglect comprises a virtual reality headset and an input for receiving functional MRI, fMRI, scanner images. During an initial analysis phase, visual images are generated for presentation to the user via the virtual reality headset at different angular and depth positions relative to the user. The fMRI images are processed to monitor brain activity relating to visual perception, eye movement generation and visual awareness of an object in response to the generated visual images. In this way, a 3D map is derived of the visual awareness of the user, for use in treating the visual neglect.
