Abstract: Provided is a common-path optical fiber-based handheld parallel optical coherence tomography (OCT) apparatus, including a probe configured to receive the light from a broadband light source and illuminate a measurement target, wherein the probe may include an inner space through which the light passes, a collimator configured to collimate the light incident to the inner space, a diffraction grating configured to diffract the light having passed through the collimator, a galvanometer scanner configured to reflect the light having passed through the diffraction grating, an objective lens configured to concentrate the reflected light on a focal point, and an interferer configured to acquire an interfered light by reflecting at least a portion of the light having passed through the objective lens.

Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a diamond knife for an ultra-microtome, including determining a shape and size of a knife, performing a multiphase flow analysis on movement of a droplet at a fore-end of the knife with the determined shape and size, processing a fine pattern to ensure hydrophobic property according to a result of the flow analysis, and grinding a blade of the knife after the processing of the fine pattern to minimize an interval between the pattern and the blade and, thus, a knife blade is always maintained in a wet state due to a droplet movement between a hydrophobic fine pattern and a hydrophilic surface to continuously generate ultrathin slices.

Abstract: Provided is an ultra microtome device including: a specimen restraint part having a sample holder formed on one side in a length direction, wherein a specimen is mounted on the sample holder; a power part for providing power for implementing a motion of the specimen restraint part; an up and down motion implementing part including a first cam rotated by a force transmitted from the power part and a first shaft for implementing an up and down motion of the specimen restraint part in response to the rotation of the first cam; and a forward and backward motion implementing part including a second cam rotated by the force transmitted from the power part and a second shaft for implementing a forward and backward motion of the specimen restraint part in response to the rotation of the second cam, thereby implementing a more precise motion.
