Abstract: Provided is a device for forming plastic preforms into plastic containers, having a feed device for feeding the plastic preforms to the device, at least one first preform store, a multiplicity of plastic preforms being arranged unsorted in the preform store, and having an alignment device for bringing the plastic preforms into a predetermined position before feeding them to the device. The device includes at least a second preform store, wherein a plurality of plastic preforms of exactly one production batch can be accommodated in each preform store.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method analysing plastic preforms, wherein plastic preforms are transported along a predetermined transport path by a transport device and an infrared absorption coefficient is determined in at least one region of the plastic preform, wherein, in order to determine the infrared absorption coefficient of the plastic preform, infrared radiation is applied to the plastic preform by a first radiation device and radiation passing through the plastic preform is received by at least one receiving device and an infrared absorption behaviour of the plastic preform is determined from this received radiation, wherein the radiation device acts upon the plastic preforms with infrared radiation in a predetermined wavelength range and an evaluation device evaluates the radiation as a function of its wavelength in a wavelength range from 1500 nm to 2000 nm.

Abstract: A method for operating a system for handling containers, wherein said system for handling containers has a first handling device which handles the containers in a first predetermined manner, and at least one second handling device which handles the containers in a second predetermined manner, and a transport device which transports the containers from the first handling device to the second handling device. A control device controls the handling of the containers by at least one of the two handling devices using at least one first physical parameter which is characteristic of environmental conditions at an operating site of the system and/or using at least one second physical parameter which is characteristic of a physical property of the containers to be handled, wherein at least one of these physical parameters is determined and an operating recipe is determined independently of the system and taking this parameter as a basis, which operating recipe is used by the control device to control at least one handling device.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The invention provides a method for leakage detection in a device for shaping container preforms, comprising a compressed air system which is connected to a compressed air source and comprises at least two fluidically connected regions that can be separated from each other and/or from the environment by shut-off elements. The method comprises a leakage test run conducted in an automated manner in which at least one of the blocking elements and/or the compressed air supply into the compressed air system is controlled in such a way that it can be determined separately for each region whether compressed air escapes therefrom.
