Abstract: A damper control device includes a rate sensor that detects a pitching angular velocity of a vehicle body, a vehicle speed sensor, a steering angle sensor and a calculation unit that detect a roll angle and a yaw angular velocity of the vehicle body, a pressure sensor that detects a pressure of a contraction-side chamber in a front-wheel side damper, a pressure sensor that detects a pressure of a contraction-side chamber in a rear-wheel side damper, and a correction unit that corrects the pitching angular velocity. The pressures are controlled on the basis of the corrected pitching angular velocity and the pressures. The vehicle speed sensor, the steering angle sensor and the calculation unit detect the roll angle and the yaw angular velocity on the basis of a traveling speed and a steering angle.

Abstract: The damper control device includes a three axis rate sensor that detects a pitching angular velocity of a vehicle body of a two-wheeled vehicle, a pressure sensor that detects a pressure of a contraction-side chamber in a front-wheel side damper, a pressure sensor that detects a pressure of a contraction-side chamber of a rear-wheel side damper, and a correction unit that corrects the pitching angular velocity. The damper control device controls the pressure of the contraction-side chamber in the front-wheel side damper and the pressure of the contraction-side chamber of the rear-wheel side damper on the basis of the corrected pitching angular velocity, the pressure of the contraction-side chamber in the front-wheel side damper and the pressure of the contraction-side chamber of the rear-wheel side damper.

Abstract: A damper control device feeds back a pressure within an extension-side chamber to control an extension-side solenoid valve that adjusts the pressure within the extension-side chamber, and feeds back a pressure within a compression-side chamber to control a compression-side solenoid valve that adjusts the pressure within the compression-side chamber. The damper control device performs a compression-side reduction correction which reduces a compression-side current supplied to the compression-side solenoid valve during extension of a damper, and performs an extension-side reduction correction which reduces an extension-side current supplied to the extension-side solenoid valve during contraction of the damper.

Abstract: A shock absorber includes a piston joined to a piston rod that proceeds into and recedes from a cylinder, an extension-side chamber and a compression-side chamber that are separated from each other by the piston and have a working fluid reserved therein, first and second extension-side discharge passages in which the working fluid discharged from the extension-side chamber flows, an extension-side supply passage in which the working fluid to be supplied to the compression-side chamber flows, first and second compression-side discharge passages in which the working fluid discharged from the compression-side chamber flows, and a compression-side supply passage in which the working fluid to be supplied to the extension-side chamber flows. An extension-side damping valve and a compression-side damping valve are respectively provided in the first extension-side discharge passage and the first compression-side discharge passage. An extension-side electromagnetic pressure control valve and a compression-side electromagnetic pressure control valve, which are respectively provided in the second extension-side discharge passage and the second compression-side discharge passage, are set such that the openings thereof are maximized before the piston speed reaches a high-speed range.
