    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to cloud-based document quality assurance. One example embodiment includes a method for evaluating document quality. The method includes receiving, by a cloud server, document data associated with an image forming device. The method also includes accessing, by the cloud server, a cloud service. Further, the method includes performing, by the cloud service, a data-segment comparison between the document data and reference document data from a quality assurance database. In addition, the method includes generating, by the cloud service, a quality assurance report based on the data-segment comparison between the document data and the reference document data.

    Abstract: A printing device receives a document to print directly from a computing device. The document is converted into a portable document format (PDF) file. The PDF converter separates the document into different groups that are processed separate to generate multiple PDF files for the document. The PDF files include a first page file and subsequent files for groups of pages separated according to criteria, such as page number or size. The separate PDF file is sent to the PDF interpreter to be printed without waiting for the subsequent data within the document.

    Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for texture printing. A system comprises a rasterizer configured to convert an input image with texture information to color data and texture attribute plane data, the rasterizer is configured to set the change bit of pixel n to zero when the texture information associated with pixel n is the same as pixel n−1. The system further comprises a data compressor, a memory device, a data decompressor, a color converter and a halftoner configured to convert the color data to color halftone data, and a texture data generator configured to combine the texture attribute plane data decompressed by the data decompressor and the color halftone data from the halftoner to generate output ink data for a printer engine to print the input image with texture.
