Abstract: A controller checks ink quantity to be ejected to a specific area on a first side (specific area ink quantity) and determines an ink quantity ratio. The specific area is a strip-shaped area including a side edge on upstream side in a conveying direction of a paper sheet on the first side. When the ink quantity ratio is larger than a reference ink quantity ratio, the controller performs a black conversion process on pixels in a conversion target range. The conversion target range is a range corresponding to the specific area in the image data of the first side. The black conversion process is a process of converting a pixel to which three color inks, i.e. cyan, magenta, and yellow inks are to be ejected into a pixel to which only black ink is to be ejected.

Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes three or more recording heads. The recording heads contain different inks and eject the different inks sequentially on a recording medium. The different inks each contain a pigment. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected first has the lowest pigment content ratio. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected third and an ink to be subsequently ejected each have a pigment content ratio equal to or higher than that of the pigment contained in a corresponding one of inks to be precedently ejected. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected second and an ink to be subsequently ejected each have a lower viscosity at 25° C. than a corresponding one of inks to be precedently ejected.

Abstract: A discharge tray has a frame, a first tray, a second tray, and an angle switching member. The first tray has a sheet-discharge-direction downstream side inclined upward. The second tray is movable, along a pair of wall portions on the frame, to a first position where at least part of the second tray overlaps the first tray, a second position to which the second tray extends toward the sheet-discharge-direction downstream side, and a third position to the sheet-discharge-direction downstream side of the second position where the second tray is rotatable. As the second tray moves, the angle switching member moves. At the third position, the angle switching member rotates through a predetermined angle and is held by the wall portions. The angle switching member supports the second tray at a second inclination angle smaller than a first inclination angle when the second tray is at the second position.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus (1) includes a discharge port (25), a sheet stacking plate (41), a pair of cursors (43), a cursor driver (95), a pair of blowers (83) and a controller (37). Through the discharge port (25), a sheet formed an image is discharged. On the sheet stacking plate (41), the sheet discharged through the discharge port (25) is stacked. The pair of cursors (43) is supported on the sheet stacking plate (41) in a slidable manner in width directions perpendicular to a discharge direction of the sheet and comes into contact with both side edges of the sheet. The cursor driver (95) drives the pair of cursors (43). The pair of blowers (83) is provided in the pair of cursors (43) so as to blow air to both corners on an upstream side in the discharge direction of the sheet which is discharged through the discharge port (25), from above. The controller (37) controls the cursor driver (95) and the pair of blowers (83).
