This disclosure discloses a rotating electrical machine including a rotating electrical machine main body portion including a stator and a rotor, and a winding switching unit configured to switch windings of the stator. The winding switching unit includes a housing including a flow passage through which a coolant is circulated formed inside, an electronic component mounted on a mounting surface of the housing, and a contact surface disposed on the housing and brought into contact with a wiring related member involving an internal wiring including a wiring connecting the windings and the electronic component.

A vehicle includes a motor, a driving device, and a cooling device. The motor includes a motor main body and a winding switching unit. The motor main body includes windings and a first coolant channel to cool said windings. The winding switching unit is disposed on an outer surface of said motor main body and includes heat-generating components and a second coolant channel. The heat-generating components are used to switch said windings. The second coolant channel is to cool said heat-generating components. The driving device is configured to control switching of said winding switching unit and configured to apply driving voltage to said windings, the drive device including a third coolant channel. The cooling device is to cool coolant that flows through said first coolant channel, said second coolant channel and said third coolant channel.

A coil includes: a coil main body in which one coil end in an axial direction is bent to an inner peripheral side of a stator core including a tooth having an protrusion preventing portion configured to prevent the coil from protruding to the inner peripheral side of the stator core; and a relief portion provided for a portion of the coil main body that is bent to the inner peripheral side of the stator core. The relief portion is configured to release the protrusion preventing portion of the tooth when the coil main body is inserted into a slot of the stator core in the axial direction from one coil end in the axial direction that is bent to the inner peripheral side of the stator core.

This disclosure discloses a rotating electrical machine including a cylindrical housing, a stator disposed inside the housing, an annular wiring group disposed on one end side of the stator and including an end portion of windings of the stator routed in a circumferential direction, at least one terminal base to which a plurality of wirings led out of the annular wiring group is connected, and a terminal base fixing member disposed on one end side of the housing and to which the terminal base is fixed. The plurality of wirings includes wirings differing in thicknesses. The terminal base connects the plurality of wirings in such a manner that a first wiring group including at least one thickest first wiring in the plurality of wirings is wired on an outermost peripheral side in a radial direction of the terminal base fixing member.
