    摘要: An antenna unit includes at least one transmission antenna and plural reception antennas. A receiver detects information including azimuth information for a target, based on an output from the antenna unit. An antenna switching unit switches connections between a transmitter and the transmission antenna and between the reception antenna and the receiver. The antenna unit includes a wide-beam array antenna and plural narrow-beam array antennas having a narrower beam width than the array antenna. A monopulse process is performed based on an output of a predetermined pair of array antennas from among the array antennas formed as the narrow-beam array antennas.

    摘要: An antenna system is effectively formed in a limited space, to make a configuration of the antenna system a simple mechanism. In a monopulse radar apparatus, an antenna unit includes an array antenna (a wide-beam array antenna) formed by a part of antenna elements that are constituent elements of the antenna unit (an area K1), and a plurality of narrow-beam array antennas formed as array antennas having a narrower beam width than the array antenna. A monopulse process is performed based on an output of a predetermined pair of array antennas (areas K2 and K3) from among the array antennas formed as the narrow-beam array antennas.

The operation determination section determines as to whether or not a timing at which the level of the received signal exceeds a first determination level is within a first time period on the basis of detection result and a timing at which the transmission control section controls the transmission section to transmit the signal in the pulse shape, to determine as to whether or not the transmission section and the reception section operate normally.

    摘要: A transmission wave is transmitted to a target from a transmission section. A receiving section receives a wave reflected from the target as a received wave. A conversion section converts a time difference between the transmission time at which a transmission wave is transmitted and the receiving time at which a received wave is received in to a voltage. The thus-obtained voltage is subjected to analog-to-digital conversion by means of a processing circuit, whereby a distance is computed.

The correction section corrects the correlation value for the second distance on a basis of the cross-correlation value.
