For example, certain aspects provide an apparatus having a first interface configured to output at least one first sequence for transmission in one or more directions, and a second interface configured to obtain at least one second sequence and at least one third sequence, where the at least one second sequence is obtained during the transmission of the at least one first sequence. In certain aspects, the apparatus also include a processing system configured to compare the at least one first sequence with the at least one second sequence, and detect one or more objects based on the comparison, wherein the detection of the one or more objects is further based on the at least one third sequence.
