摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a method of implanting an intervertebral disk prosthesis that can be assembled and disassembled in a minimally invasive fashion. The prosthesis comprises a first fixing element having an anchoring first face and a co-operation second face; a second fixing element having an anchoring first face and a co-operation second face; a first prosthesis element having an active first face and a co-operation second face, the co-operation faces of the first fixing element and the first prosthesis element serving to fasten the two elements together; a second prosthesis element having an active first face and a co-operation second face, the co-operation faces of the second fixing element and the second prosthesis element serving to fasten the two elements together; and each of the active faces of the prosthesis elements defining at least a portion of a spherical cap that is respectively concave or convex.

摘要: A vertebral fixing system comprising a connecting part with two longitudinal elements coupled to each other at a first end and having mutually facing recesses for receiving a rod. A portion of a flexible ligature extends through orifices of the two longitudinal elements to define a loop opposite two free ends of the flexible ligature. The two longitudinal elements are engaged at a second end of the connecting part via a locking means. When the two longitudinal elements of the connecting part are locked at the second end of the connecting part, two strands of the flexible ligature are pinched between the rod and a wall of the mutually facing recesses of the two longitudinal elements of the connecting part, preventing the flexible ligature from moving in translation relative to the connecting part.

摘要: A surgical tool for tensioning a flexible member of a vertebral device, the flexible member having at least one end portion to which tension is applied. The surgical tool includes a longitudinal member having a longitudinal axis, a first end provided with an element for securing in rotation at least one end portion of the flexible member with the first end of the longitudinal member, and a second end provided with a handling element. The surgical tool also includes a guiding structure comprising a first end adapted to be applied against the body of the vertebral device, and at least one guiding element for guiding in rotation the longitudinal member about the longitudinal axis. The guiding structure maintains the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal member with respect to the body, whereby the rotation of the longitudinal member with the handling element produces the tensioning of the flexible member.

摘要: A surgical tool for tensioning a flexible member of a vertebral device, the flexible member having at least one end portion to which tension is applied. The surgical tool includes a longitudinal member having a longitudinal axis, a first end provided with an element for securing in rotation at least one end portion of the flexible member with the first end of the longitudinal member, and a second end provided with a handling element. The surgical tool also includes a guiding structure comprising a first end adapted to be applied against the body of the vertebral device, and at least one guiding element for guiding in rotation the longitudinal member about the longitudinal axis. The guiding structure maintains the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal member with respect to the body, whereby the rotation of the longitudinal member with the handling element produces the tensioning of the flexible member.
