摘要:
An operating system provides an extensible share action to broker content sharing between applications executing on a computing platform such as a personal computer, tablet computer, or smartphone. The share action enables a consistent user experience for content sharing to be implemented across all applications and eliminates users having to switch from the current application they are using to some other functionality in order to share content. Applications can participate with the operating system share action as source applications and/or target applications. Source applications may describe what content is shareable given the current state of their application when the user chooses to invoke the share action. Target applications can be configured to receive the shared content from the source application according to content type, and will expose a companion view of their application to the user that is specifically tailored to facilitate sharing.

A method for classifying digital ink receives digital ink comprising ink strokes. A plurality of the ink strokes can be classified. A temporal line grouping is performed on a plurality of the classified ink strokes that are grouped to form a temporal line group. The temporal line group is segmented into a cluster. The cluster can be classified.

A connected account provider system allows a user of multiple electronic devices to set up a user account on one device with the device's settings saved in the cloud for application across different devices. A user can obtain secure access to the saved settings using a second (or subsequent) device and can select settings from the initial device to be synchronized to the second device. The system employs client account provider (CAP) software that can be obtained from an independent software provider and is installed on different devices of a user. The CAP client software creates an architecture on a user's device with a CAP client software layer conceptually separate from the device's operating system software. The CAP client software provides extension points for facilitating connection between connected user devices' operating systems and a cloud services layer typically provided by the CAP client software vendor.

Flexible and efficient systems and methods for organizing, analyzing, and processing digital ink incrementally analyze input data (e.g., representing ink strokes) as the user continues to add to, edit, or modify the data. In this manner, processing is performed promptly as the ink is entered, and the processing system and method can effectively keep up with the user. This prevents long processing delays, because the systems and methods need not first process a large volume of ink data present after the user has entered has completely filled a page with ink.

Annotation recognition and parsing is accomplished by first recognizing and grouping shapes such that relationships between the annotations and the underlying text and/or images can be determined. The recognition and grouping is followed by categorization of recognized annotations according to predefined types. The classification may be according to functionality, relation to content, and the like. In a third phase, the annotations are anchored to the underlying text or images they are found to be related to.

In the described embodiment, methods and systems for processing facial image data for use in animation are described. In one embodiment, a system is provided that illuminates a face with illumination that is sufficient to enable the simultaneous capture of both structure data, e.g. a range or depth map, and reflectance properties, e.g. the diffuse reflectance of a subject's face. This captured information can then be used for various facial animation operations, among which are included expression recognition and expression transformation.

A method of reconciling a first data structure with a second data structure that is a subsequently modified version of the first data structure. Initially, each node in the first data structure for which a change has been made to a corresponding node in the second data structure is accessed. For each accessed node, a determination is made as to whether the change made to the corresponding node in the second data structure creates a collision with the first data structure. If the change made to the corresponding node in the second data structure does not create a collision with the first data structure, then the change is made to the accessed node in the first data structure.

The illustrated and described embodiments describe techniques for capturing data that describes 3-dimensional (3-D) aspects of a face, transforming facial motion from one individual to another in a realistic manner, and modeling skin reflectance.
