摘要: The present invention provides a fluid dynamic bearing device having high durability and capable of being produced at low cost. In the fluid dynamic bearing device, a housing (7) and a disc hub (3) are resin molded parts, and a thrust bearing gap is formed between an upper end surface (7d) of the housing (7) and a lower end surface (3e) of the disc hub (3). In this case, the surfaces (7d, 3e) function as sliding portions (P) temporarily in sliding contact with each other during operation of the bearing. A diameter of PAN-based carbon fibers blended as reinforcement fibers in the resin housing (7) is 12 μm or less, and the blending amount is within a range of 5 to 20 vol %, thereby making it possible to prevent occurrence of flaws and wear in the sliding portions (P).

摘要: The present invention provides a fluid dynamic bearing device having high durability and capable of being produced at low cost. 摘要: The invention is aimed at further reducing the cost of a dynamic pressure bearing unit. In a shaft member 2, a shaft portion 2a is disposed with the outer circumferential surface thereof facing the inner circumferential surface of a bearing sleeve across a radial bearing gap, while a flange portion 2b is disposed with both end faces 2b1 and 2b2 thereof respectively facing one end face of the bearing sleeve and a bottom face of a housing across respective thrust bearing gaps, and the shaft member 2 is supported in a thrust direction in a noncontact fashion by a dynamic pressure occurring in each bearing gap. In the shaft member 2, the core of the shaft portion 2a and the flange portion 2b are both formed from a resin member 21, while the outer circumference of the shaft portion 2a is formed from a metal member 22.

Moreover, a concave shaped adhesive reservoir 10 is formed by a sink mark of the resin during injection molding on its inner circumferential surface 7e simultaneously with the injection molding of the housing 7. Accordingly, the adhesive can be prevented from overflowing and the adverse influence caused by the overflowing of the excessive adhesive can be avoided. A decrease in the molding precision of the housing can be also prevented and cost reduction by dispensing with a processing step can be enabled.

摘要: The present invention has an object of improving wear resistance of a thrust bearing portion. A pressure is generated by a dynamic pressure effect of a lubricating oil in a thrust bearing gap between a thrust bearing surface including dynamic pressure generating grooves and a smooth thrust receiving surface so as to rotatably support a shaft member in an axial direction. The thrust receiving surface is formed as a flat surface, whereas an inclined plane is provided on the thrust bearing surface so as to provide a reduced portion having a decreasing axial width in a radially outward direction in the thrust bearing gap.
