    摘要: A connector is capable of selectively connecting different types of cards. The connector has a first connector portion having a first contact for connection to a first card, and a second connector portion having a second contact for connection to a second card. The first contact and the first card are connected together in a fitting/removal direction, while, the second contact and the second card are connected together in a direction crossing the fitting/removal direction. When the first contact and the first card are connected together, the second contact is prevented from contacting the first card. When the second contact and the second card are connected together, the first contact is prevented from contacting the second card.

    摘要: A contact capable of facilitating adjustment of impedance and ensuring a high holding force when held in a housing. To a contact portion capable of being brought into contact with a pad on a module substrate, a spring portion is connected for pressing the contact portion against the pad. A press-fitting portion that is press-fitted into the housing is connected to the spring portion, and has a connecting portion connected thereto. A terminal portion to be connected to a pad on a motherboard is connected to the connecting portion. The spring portion is bent in a manner folded back from the rear end of the press-fitting portion in the inserting direction, toward a front side in the inserting direction. The connecting portion extends from the rear end of the press-fitting portion in the inserting direction, toward a rear side in the inserting direction.

    摘要: In a connector, a contact group has a signal contact and a ground contact, and the signal contact is arranged adjacently to both sides of the ground contact. Each of the signal contact and the ground contact has a contact portion connected to a partner side contact and also has a terminal portion connected to a connecting object. The pitch intervals between the terminal portions of the respective contacts of the contact group are equally set. The contact portion of the signal contact approaches the contact portion of the ground contact. Thus, the pitch interval between the contact portions of the adjacent signal contacts is widened with respect to the pitch interval between the terminal portions.

    摘要: A connector (70) comprises a connector body (10), a shell (30, 40) and two latch members (20). The shell (30, 40) has two openings (33) formed therein at positions near the interface end. Each of the latch members (20) includes a latch projection (28) formed on one end thereof in the Y direction. The latch projections (28) project from an inside of the shell (30, 40) through the openings (33) to an outside of the shell (30, 40). The latch projection (28) further comprises a plate portion (24) and a bulged portion (25), which is formed on the plate portion (24) and serves as a control point for movement of the latch projection (28). The shell (30, 40) further comprises two apertures (43), each of which has a first area size. The plate portion (24) has a second area size larger than the first area size while the bulged portion (25) has a third area size smaller than the first area size. The plate portion (24) is arranged on the inside surface of the shell (30, 40) to block the corresponding aperture (43) under the normal conditions, while the bulged portion (25) is surrounded by the corresponding aperture (43) of the shell (30, 40) under the normal conditions. Therefore, the bulged portion (43) is touchable from the outside of the shell (30, 40). At the outside of the shell (30, 40), buttons will be arranged so as to be able to exert forces on the bulged portions (25) when the buttons are operated. When the bulged portions (25) are pressed, the latch projections (28) will be retracted to the inside the shell (30, 40).
