    摘要: A print with a hologram, such as an ID card, including a transferred image including a transferred sublimable dye image of a full color using sublimable dye inks, and a hologram and the like laminated on the transferred image for security purposes. Even when stored or used for a long period of time, the hologram causes no unfavorable phenomena, such as bleeding, in the sublimation dye thermal transferred image and has excellent durability. A process for producing such a print with a hologram is also disclosed. In the production of the print with a hologram, a transferred image 2 of a sublimable dye ink or a combination of a transferred image 2 of a sublimable dye ink with a transferred image 3 of a hot-melt ink is provided on an image-receiving sheet 1. A protective layer 4 is provided by thermal transfer or other means on the transferred image so as to cover the transferred image, and, thereafter, a hologram layer 5 is thermally transferred from a thermal transfer sheet onto the protective layer 4, or a laminate including a hologram layer, for example, a heat-bondable hologram label (seal), is heated and pressed by a hot plate or a hot roll to heat-bond the laminate to the protective layer.

    摘要: In order to enable stamping or writing with an aqueous ink on a print with a colorant image or the like formed thereon and, at the same time, to impart fastness properties, such as weather resistance, chemical resistance, and solvent resistance to the print, there are provided a thermal transfer film for a protective layer, which, upon transfer on a print, can form a protective layer having a water-absorptive property and the above fastness, and a print with a protective layer transferred from the above transfer film.The thermal transfer film for a protective layer basically comprises a heat-resistant substrate film and a thermally transferable protective layer laminated thereto. The thermally transferable protective layer is thermally separated from the substrate and laminated on a print with a colorant image.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are a thermal transfer printing sheet capable of efficiently transferring images, letters, symbols or the like to both surfaces of an image-receiving material, and a process of double-side transfer printing using the same. The thermal transfer printing sheet comprises a substrate sheet; an area for surface transfer printing, comprising at least a sublimable dye layer composed of sections of one or more colors; and an area for reverse transfer printing, comprising at least a hot-melt ink layer composed of sections of ohe or more colors, the two areas being alternately provided on one surface of the substrate sheet. An image is printed on the surface of an image-receiving material by using the area for surface transfer printing, and another image is printed on the back of the image-receiving material by using the area for reverse transfer printing. Double-side transfer printing can thus be efficiently conducted without leaving unused areas on the thermal transfer printing sheet.
