摘要： A card connector includes a plurality of contacts adapted to contact memory cards, a housing holding the contacts and having a plurality of inserting openings arranged in vertically overlapping relationship for inserting memory cards, respectively, and a shell covering the housing. A pivot member is installed at a predetermined position in the housing so as to be pivotally moved when one memory card is inserted in one of the inserting openings such that part of the pivot member extends into all the inserting openings except for the one inserting opening, thereby preventing a further memory card from being inserted into the card connector. In assembling, after the pivot member is set in the housing so that protrusions provided in the housing are fitted in slits formed in the pivot member, the shell is fitted on the housing to push the pivoting member into the predetermined position.

摘要： A card connector for a plurality of memory cards includes a housing having a plurality of inserting holes for the memory cards, respectively. The card connector includes a swing member made of an elastic metal plate and having fixing portions and a swing part in the form of a hollow square rod having extending portions extending into the inserting holes when the swing member is fixed in the housing. A partition wall between the inserting holes is formed with a rectangular notch and slits in opposite faces of the rectangular notch for press-fitting the fixing portions of the swing member, respectively. When one memory card is inserted into one inserting hole, the inserted memory card causes the swing part to be further extended into another inserting hole, thereby preventing another memory card from being inserted into the another inserting hole.

摘要： A card connector for a plurality of memory cards includes a housing having a plurality of inserting holes for the memory cards, respectively. 摘要： A connector for a jack includes four contacts of first, second, third and fourth contacts each having a contact portion and a connection portion, and a housing, to exchange signals and to ascertain whether a plug connector has been inserted into the connector. The third contact substantially U-shaped in cross-section includes a contact piece having a first contact part adapted to contact the plug connector, and a spring piece having an elasticity facing to the contact piece and provided by forming a U-shaped slit in a part of the third contact at a location opposite to the contact piece. When the plug connector is inserted into the connector, the plug connector pushes the first contact part of the contact piece to cause the contact piece to be displaced to the spring piece so that the contact piece pushes the spring piece to cause the spring piece to be displaced toward the housing and at the same time the spring piece pushes the contact piece with each other with the aid of its elasticity. The connector achieves a reliable holding force for the plug connector without scratching it.
