摘要: There is provided an ignition circuit for a vehicle occupant protecting system whereby in case of a collision a heating element such as a filament is ignited to actuate the occupant protecting system. Switch means is connected in parallel with the heating element and another switch means is connected in series with the parallel circuit of the heating element and the first switch means, whereby when at least one of said switch means is damaged, the ignition of the filament is rendered impossible.

摘要: There is provided a collision detecting system for an occupant protector comprising at least two terminals, a weight, a spring mechanism arranged between the terminals and adapted to function to change on-off state between the two terminals when an acceleration or deceleration caused by a collision exceeds a predetermined value, and biasing means for biasing the weight to contact with the spring mechanism. The collision detecting system of this invention is suited for installation on both large and small vehicles.

摘要: An apparatus for detecting the collision of a vehicle to produce a signal indicating the collision, which signal is adapted to actuate a safety device, such an apparatus having a pair of rotatable rigid members defining therebetween a space in which disposed is a stationary contact adapted to cooperate with a movable contact carried by the rigid members. Spring means are provided for biasing the rigid members in one rotational direction against a rotational force caused by deceleration of the vehicle. The rigid members are provided with a massive weight so as to make the gravitational center eccentric from the rotational axis thereof, thereby an enhanced sensitivity to the deceleration is obtained.

摘要: Apparatus for detecting collision of a motor vehicle, carried by the vehicle and adapted to produce an electrical signal upon the collision of the vehicle to actuate occupant protection systems. The collision detecting apparatus comprises a rotational member in which the center of gravity is shifted from it's rotational axis so that collision energy applied thereto upon the collision of vehicle is converted into rotational energy of the rotational member, to actuate a contact device for producing the electrical signal. The apparatus is characterized by a simplified and small-sized structure, reliable in operation and generation of the collision signal.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a first process unit and a second process unit. The first process unit includes: a first photosensitive member configured to carry a first developer image to be transferred onto a transfer medium; and a blade member configured to scrape substances attached to a surface of the first photosensitive member off the surface of the first photosensitive member. The second process unit includes: a second photosensitive member configured to carry a second developer image to be transferred onto the transfer medium having the first developer image transferred thereon; and a holding member configured to remove substances attached to a surface of the second photosensitive member from the surface of the second photosensitive member, temporarily hold the substances and return the substances to the surface of the second photosensitive member.

摘要: A fixing device may include a nip member, an endless belt, a rotating body, and a stay. The endless belt may be in sliding contact with the nip member. The rotating body may nip the endless belt to constitute a nip region. The stay may be disposed opposite to the nip region, and may receive a pressure from the nip member. A pressure direction may be defined as a first direction. The rotating body may define an axial direction as a second direction. The stay may have a first wall. The first wall may include a center portion, a first end portion, a second end portion and a supporting portion. The first end portion may include a first low rigidity portion. The second end portion may include a second low rigidity portion. The supporting portion may provide a convex shape protruding toward the nip member upon receiving the pressure.

摘要: The present invention provides a fixing device that may include a nip member, a rotating body and an endless belt. The endless belt may be in sliding contact with the nip member. The rotating body may constitute a nip region. The nip region may define a first, second and third imaginary planes. The first imaginary plane may be perpendicular to the sliding direction. The second imaginary plane may be perpendicular to the axial direction of the rotating body and may contain a first end portion of the nip region. The third imaginary plane may contain a second end portion of the nip region. The first surface may be a convex shape in a first cross-section along the first imaginary plane, and may be concave shape concaved in a direction opposite to the rotating body in second and third cross-sections along the second and third imaginary planes.

摘要: A fixing device may include a metal plate, an endless belt, a rotating body, and a stay. The metal plate may have a main part comprising a first end portion, a second end portion, and a center portion positioned therebetween and having rigidity higher than that of the first end portion and the second end portion. The endless belt may have an inner peripheral surface configured to be in sliding contact with the metal plate. The main part may be aligned with the rotating body in a direction from the metal plate to the rotating body. The stay may be disposed opposite to the nip region with respect to the metal plate. The stay and the main part of the metal plate may be deformable upon application of the load to the stay such that the main part may provide a convex shape protruding toward the rotating body.

摘要: In a case where a select communication with an apparatus main body is performed, an option side controller selected by a select signal determines whether a command-save-bit is true or not. In a case where the command-save-bit is not true, the option side controller executes a processing in accordance with the command signal. In a case where the command-save-bit is true, the option side controller stores contents of the command signal into a memory. In a case where the simultaneous communication with the apparatus main body is performed, all of the option side controllers read the command signal from the memory and executes a processing in accordance with the command signal.
