    摘要： An image forming method, including forming an electrostatic latent image on a latent image bearer; forming a thin layer of a toner on a developing roller with a thin-layer forming member; and feeding the toner with the developing roller to the electrostatic latent image to develop the electrostatic latent image, wherein the toner is a pulverized toner, including a binder resin; a wax; and an inorganic particulate material, and wherein the following relationships (1) to (3) are satisfied: 300≧v≧100  (1) 10≧R≧5  (2) R2/12≧A≧150/v  (3) wherein v represents a peripheral speed of the developing roller; R represents a diameter of the developing roller; and A represents an exposure of the wax on the surface of the toner.

    摘要： A conveying device conveys a sheet of non-blank recording medium recorded with an image formed in an image forming unit, and includes a container that is detachable and contains a sheet of blank recording medium, a feeding unit that feeds the blank recording medium from the container, and a recirculating path that leads the non-blank recording medium to the feeding unit. The recirculating path is disposed lateral to the image forming unit. A part of the recirculating path is integrated into the container and forms a reversing path that leads to the feeding unit. At least one of surfaces of the reversing path can be exposed.

The powder conveyor includes a first conveying part that includes a rotating axis, and a conveying surface inclined with respect to the rotating axis along a direction of the rotating axis. The powder conveyor further includes a second conveying part that includes a conveying surface parallel to the rotating axis along the direction of the rotating axis, and the first conveying part and the second conveying part are disposed alternately along the direction of the rotating axis.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a cover and a supporting unit. The supporting unit includes a holding member, a supporting member, a first biasing unit, and a positioning unit. The holding member holds the transferring member. The supporting member movably supports the holding member, so that the transferring member can move toward or away from a specific member arranged in the main body. The first biasing unit biases the transferring member toward the specific member. When the cover is in a closed state, the transferring member is pressed against the specific member. The positioning unit performs positioning of the supporting member with respect to the main body.
