    摘要: An inertial device for, by using azimuth data indicating a direction of travel calculated based on an acceleration of a moving user, calculating coordinate data indicating a position of the user, includes an azimuth drift calculation unit configured to determine whether a moving direction, which is specified based on the coordinate data calculated while the user makes a predetermined amount of movement, of the predetermined amount of movement of the user satisfies a condition defined in direction adjusting condition information with respect to a predetermined reference direction, and an adjusting unit configured to, in response to the determination by the azimuth drift calculation unit that the predetermined condition is satisfied, adjust the acceleration, which is newly obtained to calculate new coordinate data, based on a difference between the direction of travel indicated by the azimuth data which have already been calculated and the reference direction.

    摘要: The present invention is concerning an information processing apparatus includes a record-information storage unit, a determining unit, a measuring unit, and an identifying unit. The record-information storage unit stores therein an already-identified person's motion together with time. The determining unit determines possible motions that a person can make from the already-identified person's motion. The measuring unit measures measurement information according to a person's motion. The identifying unit performs a pattern detecting process for detecting a pattern similar to the measurement information measured by the measuring unit in patterns corresponding to the possible motions determined by the determining unit out of predetermined patterns of measurement information for person's motions, and identifies a motion corresponding to the detected pattern as a motion that the person made.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a storage unit, an estimating unit, a judging unit, and a determining unit. The storage unit stores therein information of a walking state and a first location representing a location where the walking state occurs in an associated manner. The estimating unit estimates the walking state on the basis of measurement information measured in response to person's walking. When the walking state has been estimated, the judging unit judges whether or not the first location associated with the estimated walking state exists near a second location representing a location calculated by autonomous navigation based on the measurement information. When it has been judged that the first location exists near the second location, the determining unit determines the first location to be person's current location.
