    摘要： A system and method for generating configuration code using an SNMP MIB, comprising generating a first configuration layer based on an XML MIB derived from the SNMP MIB. The first configuration layer is configured to provide an SNMP Agent with access to a second configuration layer. A second configuration layer is generated for a configuration table based on the XML MIB and comprises methods for managing the configuration table. The second configuration layer is configured to receive a configuration request containing configuration information representing a change to the configuration table from the SNMP Agent, call a first configuration listener method from a configuration listener layer, and receive a first status code from the configuration listener layer.

    摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide an abstraction for the representation of a network device's configuration and management data that is not tied to a particular protocol or network device implementation but is, instead, an original, general format used as source for producing multiple, alternate and/or equivalent representations that exist and occur simultaneously within a system of network devices. Other embodiments of the invention utilize XML abstraction as the input to a system of software code generators that can produce application programming interfaces used to communicate and manage network devices that support specific management protocols and representations. Another embodiment of the invention is the result of generalizing an existing, but specific, representation of a network device's configuration and management data so that the newly-generalized format can be repurposed and provide alternate, additional but equivalent representations of the original, specific network device configuration and management information.

    摘要： A telephone call-diverter system for interconnecting an incoming telephone line to an outgoing telephone line so that an incoming telephone call can be transferred to a predetermined remote telephone station. A DC conducting channel is established between the call-diverter system and the incoming telephone line subsequent to the detection of the incoming telephone call, the transmission of dialing signals from the call-diverter system over the outgoing telephone line and a remote station answer condition provided on the outgoing telephone line. In one embodiment, a voice frequency transmission channel is provided in the incoming telephone line connection so that voice frequency communication between the incoming and outgoing telephone lines is provided independent of the completion of the DC connection. Hence, voice frequency signals can be communicated even before the DC connection is established.
