摘要： A rest apparatus for supporting a cylindrical portion of a workpiece to be machined. A pilot shaft is supported at the opposite ends thereof by a support head and provided with a piston portion to form a hydraulic cylinder with a cylinder bore of a rest housing so as to move the rest housing toward and away from the workpiece. The axis of the pilot shaft passes through or slightly above the axis of the workpiece. Rotation of the rest housing about the pilot shaft is prevented. A pair of rest shafts are slidably but nonrotatably received in the rest housing for horizontally and vertically supporting the workpiece by a pair of rest shoes. Feed apparatus is operatively connected to the pair of rest shafts to feed the pair of rest shoes toward the center of the workpiece.

摘要： A display medium includes a pair of substrates, an electrophoretic medium, and a partitioning medium. The pair of substrates is disposed in spaced-apart relation and substantially parallel to each other. The electrophoretic medium is disposed between the pair of substrates and contains charged particles. An electric field generated between the pair of substrates causes the charged particles contained in the electrophoretic medium to migrate for switching a display state. The partitioning medium has fluidity and is phase-separated from the electrophoretic medium at least at room temperature. The partitioning medium is in a phase-separated state phase-separated from the electrophoretic medium. The partitioning medium is disposed between the pair of substrates as a partition to partition the electrophoretic medium.

摘要： Terminals connected to wires pass through insertion holes of a holder and the segment holes of a seal member, and are held in the receptors of a connector housing in a state such that the seal member is housed in a recess of a seal setting portion of the connector housing. A pressing portion of the holder containing indents compresses the seal member to thereby reduce the respective sizes of the segment holes of the seal member so as deform the segment holes to shrink in conformity with the outer shape of the inserted wires.
