摘要: A sliding bearing according to the present invention includes a metal part formed by electroforming on an inner periphery of the sliding bearing and an oil feeding mechanism for supplying oil to the bearing gap. As a result, oil retained by the oil feeding mechanism is supplied to the bearing gap, so the lubricity between the bearing and the shaft member is improved by an oil film formed in the bearing gap, making it possible to avoid generation of noise due to defective lubrication and wear of members due to the contact sliding between the bearing and the shaft member.

摘要: A hub portion of a fluid dynamic bearing device is formed from a resin composition in which polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is employed as a base resin and with which carbon fibers are mixed. In this manner, the wear resistance and the conductivity can be improved. Alternatively, both portions of a stationary body and a rotating body of the fluid dynamic bearing device which portions face to each other through a bearing gap are formed from a resin composition in which polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is employed as the base resin. In this manner, excellent wear resistance can be obtained.

The above-described dynamic-pressure-groove 10a2 arrayed region is molded in the lower end surface 10a1 of the holding member 10 by press working.

摘要: A fluid dynamic bearing device capable of exercising high bearing performance is provided at low cost.A housing 7 is injection molded with a bearing sleeve 8 as an insert. Accordingly, the molding of the housing 7 and the assembly of the housing 7 and the bearing sleeve 8 can be performed in a single step. In addition to this, by simply increasing the die precisions the housing 7 and the bearing sleeve 8 can be fixed easily with high precision. Since the housing 7 is opened at both ends, it is possible to sandwich the bearing sleeve 8, and accordingly, the bearing sleeve 8 can be accurately positioned inside the dies with reliability.

摘要: Provided is a housing for a resin fluid dynamic bearing device in which deterioration with time of a fixing force for another member is mitigated and which can maintain a high bearing performance for a long period of time. The housing formed of a resin composition exhibiting a compression creep amount of 8% or less when a compressive pressure of 80 MPa is applied for 168 hours at an atmosphere temperature of 80° C., provides a sufficient fixing force for the another member fixed with a press-fitting force, for example, a bearing sleeve press-fitted into an inner periphery of the housing even after a long term use. Thus, there is no fear of fixing positions of the another member with respect to the housing being deviated and a high bearing performance is maintained for a long period of time.

摘要: The present invention aims to achieve a reduction in cost for a fluid dynamic bearing device. The fluid dynamic bearing device supports a shaft member (2) radially in a non-contact fashion by a dynamic pressure action generated in a radial bearing gap between an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member (2) and an inner peripheral surface (7a) of a bearing member (7), and is composed of the shaft member (2), the bearing member (7), a cover member (8), and a seal member (9). The shaft member (2) is inserted into an inner periphery of the bearing member (7), and an opening at a lower end thereof is sealed by the cover member (8). The seal member (9) is attached to an opening at an upper end of the bearing member (7), forming a seal space (S) between itself and the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member (2). Dynamic pressure grooves (G) of radial bearing portions (R1 and R2) are formed in an inner peripheral surface (7a) of the bearing member (7) by molding.
